  1. I would bet he gets us a 2nd..2 in 26. That;s why I'm all about taking the end of the first rd. pick next year and spend it now. At least 2 teams have 2 picks in the 2nd and 3rd. We could end up wIth a good core crop without the screwing around. Go shopping
  2. However, until we get a line that can do the job, we gonna have to load the box. 911 in no time.
  3. While he's capable of blitzing and contributing against the run, his tackling leaves much to be desired, and he tends to shy away from contact at times. His lack of physicality when tackling could limit his effectiveness in specific defensive schemes that require corners to play a more aggressive role against the run. ( Bleacher Report)
  4. I'm gonna still hope Porter slides a little closer to 62. Then I'm gonna whip out a 2026 1st and trade with Seattle to move up to 52 and get 82.
  5. I'm bit torn here. Could we trade back with the Jags for 70 and 107?
  6. Was this a preface to a mock?
  7. I am perfectly fine with using a future pick from the END of round 1 or 2 to, give us the ability to move up in 2 and gain a 3 or just gain a 3rd. I guess if we traded 62 for 70 and 88? (JAGS) give them a 5th?
  8. WOW I'm impressed! Looked up Walkers stats. I don't think he makes it thru the 3rd.
  9. I was worried the Pats were getting the next Brady when they drafted Jones. lol
  10. I haven't voted yet. I do like Burch. Converted from in to outside and had 8.5 sacks last year? It is said that he's very athletic and pass rush will keep advancing. edit Going with Collins. Grant Oliver Collins Carter, at least feels like getting something solidified.
  11. If this were to happen, I would wonder if I could trade back to 36 with the Jags for pick 70, maybe throw in a 5th? 36 could maybe still get Scournton? then Collins 56 Porter 62 Watts 70 Thornton 109 Zy Alexander 132.
  12. There is nobody equal to Mitchell or DeJean in this class. Philly got lucky, right place, right time for those picks.
  13. Where I draw the line is...the 1st pick has to be a day 1 player. Period. Also, I'd like to know what the percentage is of guys who have already been injured, not getting hurt again over the following 3-4 years.
  14. I actually wanted 2 out of that draft. Cam Taylor Britt being the other.
  15. And he turned out a helluva lot better than Elam. Didn't he last til like the 4th?
  16. Greg Cossell said that he thinks Nolen is the best DT in the class. I think he can be the closest thing to Chris Jones over any of them. Would be awesome in the 2nd, but doubt he gets past 31-32.
  17. Yeah but supposed issue with tackling...willingness and ability. There's no CB for me at 30. I would rather take a chance on Porter at 62 and look to get 1 or 2 later. Strong / Alexander / Bryant etc. I think those will be just as good or better than the few that are ranked higher right now.
  18. I have that same feeling. 6'3 200 4:30 40 36.5" vertical. Willing blocker, secure tackling and ball hawk ability. Former receiver and track record holder. Lack of experience yes, but one more year in college probably gets him mid 1st...with this class anyway.
  19. Darien Porter pick 62. Address Dline 1st 2 picks. Joe Marino has a good write up on wgr550 website. Unteachable talents and traits. Should be a day 1 starter.
  20. If Grant and Harmon are gone, I would def. take Nolen. Nolen, Jackson, Porter, Thornton, Deone walker.
  21. I'm surprised Brownie and Tasker were as polite to your idea.
  22. Can't ask for a better 4 rounds, although special k kicked it pretty darn good.
  23. 30 Walter Nolan 56 Landon Jackson 62 Darien Porter Billy Bowman .....find a 3rd 2026 2nd 2025 last 5th and 6th 109 Donte Thornton 132 Deone Walker 170? Shaun Doulac
  24. All pretty good.
