Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky
nosejob replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's gonna be a difference maker from day 1. He can reach both ends of the line from the middle. We finally got what we needed and nobody has tape on our new look D. -
They've been on the WR train for a while. They cried for Zay Flowers nonstop for one example.

Elijah Moore Visiting the Bills today (Update: Signed!)

I hope this off season Allen commits to improving long ball accuracy. Don't matter who you have with what speed if the ball is overthrown or off target. -
Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?

Show ain't over til the fat lady sings. 6/1... I wouldn't be against signing Cooper and I think if they use what's in the cupboard...ie...Shavers they'll be fine. -
I'm sure it's been said, but the weakest group is the ones that make the decisions with 3 or less minutes left in games. Everything should have gone through OP. That coulda changed things.

Buffalo Bills Consensus Draft Grades
nosejob replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm Happy overall. I had the feeling they loved Sanders. Then to get LJ and Walker where they did. Strong will be another Benford, no shade on Max. Hopefully he'll give us Tre white play. The above will all contribute this year and that's exactly what we need. -
Buffalo Bills Consensus Draft Grades

The question is should we have moved and drafted Tyliek?....the best and last and found a 3rd another way...or possibly the same as what he did ? -
I'm stoked! We need these rooks to take the lead right off the bat. 6 weeks at least. All they have to do is get these guys in shape, slap em around a little. It's time we threw some rookies out there on the DLine. Walker's gonna be great. Sanders wasn't my first choice but they'll find the prefect pairing by week 1. I'm expecting this line to be a huge difference from last year. Plus we'll see what surfaces after 6/1. Was hoping we'd get Ty Robinson as well.

Could also be that they gave Palmer 8 mil. Seahawks also took Jared Ivey who should have been our no.1 UDFA.

Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky

This guy is gonna be great. Get some culture and process up in him....along with conditioning and look out. He won't need to play 100% snaps either. I'm stoked! -
Where are we rd. and pick wise? Had to get knee drained.
-
Donte Thornton Deon Walker Ty Robinson David Walker Shaun Dolac I wouldn't mind another corner and a safety, but they'd be practice squad only...although, I could see a Dorian Strong making the 53. I'm just spitballing cause I won't be right about anything.

The thing I like most is he's a plucker. His hands shoot out and pluck the ball like a frogs tongue catching a fly. Great catch radius. Doesn't have to post up and body catch.
-
With this deal those 5ths and 6ths can do a lot of things. Move from 62 to 57. and move up from 82 in the 3rd. Dream away.
-
Neither here nor there since our first pick is 24 deep. That list will be much smaller by then. Then we go from 62 to 109.
-
If they draft WR in the 2nd that player gets what? 20% of snaps? Josh needs more because we have to score 40 + to win? A Safety won't be starting and in the meantime we're gonna wait til after week 6 to get Hoecht and the equivalent of Austin Johnson for the Dline. Hope Joey makes it to week 6. Not to mention hanging on to DQ one year too long like Star. Will Hairston actually start?...not get hurt or potentially lose out to a 4th rounder? Hell Elam was picked 7 spots higher in a trade up.
-
If they're lucky 2nd tier at best. Their first selection today is what no. 24?
-
I'm still for trading next year's 30-32 pick to Seattle for 52 and 82. They have 2 picks in both rounds and may want to have that 2nd first next year in case Darnold turtles. I've gotten slammed for this before, but after last night, I don't care how stupid anyone thinks it is. That gives us... 52 56 62 82 109 132 Then our 5th and 6th rounders can do more to move around a little. I have little faith and I think last night was 50% a pride pick in that McBeane wanted to prove themselves that the Elam pick wasn't poor evaluation, selection, but just a weird fate. Look at Philly's Defense and where those guys were drafted. That's what separates champs from the rest.

Hopefully our 1st rd. pick can cover for ten seconds....

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

Well hopefully they can find another Benford later. They will probably need to. -

Massive liability in run support? Poor open field tackling? Shoulder injury? Needs to prove he can hold up to the rigors of the NFL? Good job. Won't be starting day 1. Awesome
