A Few Thoughts about the Cowboys Game, in no particular order
Heathcliff replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I guess you don’t realize Gabe (and Diggs) was blocking his DB out of the play every time Cook went around end. Did you not notice the DBs were not in on many tackles until several yards down field? -
It's already time to start getting ready for the Chargers

I’m predicting a Nathan Peterman game in reverse with 5 picks in the first half. -
I don’t recall one down field pass that wasn’t contested. Simply blanket coverage all around. Side Note: Cam Lewis had a good game. Is he heir apparent for Hyde’s spot next year?
-
Don’t you know the OL is feeling good! What an absolute domination of the big guys. The Cowboys have a great pass rush and good corners so rather than trying to beat that, we put out a game plan that renders those both useless. We just may have a real OC.

Living in Dallas is going to be glorious this week. I get the Bills news on-line and Cowboys on local broadcast TV. Ahhhhhh……

Mini-Rockpile - Bills Win Again at Arrowhead!
Heathcliff replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would like to add, in my opinion, how dumb that gadget play was inside the 30 yard line needing only a FG to tie. Cam Lewis was within an inch or two of knocking that ball down. Had he done that the Bills likely would have recovered due to numbers. What a pompous a$$ and his coach if he allowed it. -
And what was back? Two TEs. I don’t think this serves them well.

No fumbles is an upgrade over McKenzie

Anyone of you other old folks have flashbacks of Andre Reed on the Shakir TD?

Josh is effin back. He says so himself.

I tend to agree but how do you stop all of the playmakers on offense if Josh and Brady continue to use them as they did on Sunday? Davis and Diggs were non factors in the passing game other than being double covered the whole game. It comes down to continuing to feature the guys that are getting open and/or getting it done. I suspect the Philly D coordinator is going to have a few sleepless nights this week. -
Brady did great! Safeties focused on Diggs and Davis and forgot about the RBs, Shakir, and Kincaid. Plus a legit running game and you have a very efficient offense in which Josh doesn’t need to be the hero. Everything seemed easier today on offense.

Offense was moving the ball and it seemed easier. Felt good to see. Two swing passes to RB for TDs!

Fine for me today

Sunday Night's Game v NYG -- What's on Your Menu?
Heathcliff replied to HIT BY SPIKES's topic in The Stadium Wall
Barbecue Pulled Pork sandwiches with coleslaw. -
I was discussing with my boys how the called Josh running plays had been eliminated from the playbook. We all agreed but maybe there had been one this year. Turn to TV and bam Josh walks it in for a TD. That was a good laugh!

A Few Thoughts About the Dolphins Game, in no particular order
Heathcliff replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks Virgil and safe travels! How about our rookie Guard effectively erasing Wilkins from this game? -
No, they need to bring a DB up from Practice Squad
-
Wilkins who? Chubb who? Yea they did their job today! Starting to really gel as a unit
-
It was clear all game when Tua’s first read was taken he panicked. Never going to be great as he’s been in the league long enough to be able to process the D. He can’t and why McDermott’s defense will forever confuse him.
-
The game was like watching Brady and the Pats**** but in Buffalo Blue. What a mastery on both sides of the ball. It all starts with the big boys up front and we have dominated both sides the last 3 games. very encouraging!

Time to put the bottle down
-
Get him off his first read and/or spot and he is pedestrian
