    I actually think Deion would welcome an opportunity for his kid to be the Browns' savior. Despite incompetent ownership, football is a religion in Ohio. If Shedeur pans out, a big if, he'd be bigger than LeBron or Jim Brown.

    Right, but remember there were 6 teams willing to sign him. He wanted Atlanta, then Haslam threw $230 million guaranteed at him. Even if he is motivated enough to work through rehab, get back to the field, it's way too much time off for a QB to be effective. Plus, his mind is mush, he doesn't have the respect of his players.

    They should move it to Cleveland or Chicago. The NFL set precedent by moving Buffalo-Cleveland to a dome. Now move 2 dome teams to the elements!!

    Yep. Qualifications for ownership don't always include football smarts. Most of the good owners try to stay away & delegate to their GM and staff.

    I doubt Deion would throw a fit about Cleveland. It's possible his son could be a total hero there. That upside is way way higher than the downside. Shedeur saving what was once an iconic franchise.

    I hear you, but the flip side of a Ratbird matchup, things turn towards the Bills' favor- IF the Bills happen to get a few stops, and go up say 21-3 or 21-7, I feel somewhat confident Lamar can't complete enough passes to mount a comeback. His accuracy is questionable, and his WRs drop a lot of good thrown balls.

    True, because the "moneyball" guy ordered a tank (DePodesta). No idea why Roger Goodell picks & chooses punishments for players, yet franchises are allowed to manipulate games and draft position.

    This year it was after the draft, it used to be prior to the draft. No idea if that is a permanent thing. It might depend on TV networks (surprise lol).

    I should have expanded my bro-in-law's complaint... He says Tomlin is intimidated by coaches with a clue. He got rid of Todd Haley because he wasn't a "yes man" to Tomlin, and the offense has been iffy at best. I don't really care about Pittsburgh, I've hated 'em since I was a kid, but you have to give their organization props. They're always in contention.

    30-50 mph winds forecasted in Cleveland today, expect something like a 6-3 thriller in a battle of backup QBs. I don't think the Colts are very good but they have the easiest path on paper (NYG, JAX)

    My brother-in-law in Pittsburgh has been bitching about Tomlin for 10+ years. Pittsburgh has the NFL's worst fans it seems. Yes, fan is short for fanatic, but even Bills fans are getting entitled like Steeler fans. Look 190 miles west down I-90, or about 1700 miles west towards Nevada.....now those fans have a right to complain

    Yeah, it's doubtful but IMHO the only teams that seem to contain or slow Lamar down are Pitt & Cle. But Cle, with DTR at the helm, are clearly tanking the last 3 games.

    They're still vulnerable IMHO. Madibuke & Hamilton are their only above average players on D.

    Well, given the Ratbirds defensive problems, it's possible ( but not probable). They saw Lamar earlier, which certainly helps. Plus Lamar might have a smidgen of a confidence problem due to past playoff performances.

    TJ Watt isn't hurt. He's lined up over the RT for years and has had quite a big of success. Teams actually figured out you can stop him with two blockers, wow lol. He's a blowhard crybaby. The way he & his brother bitched about him not getting DPOY was really irritating. Clearly, he's not a team guy.
