Correct. Weird thing to me is that JA is basically the Bills whole strategy. If he plays lousy, which happens at times ( vs Atlanta for example), the Bills aren't any better than the Browns or Jets. It always seems to me that there's maybe a half dozen QBs in the NFL in any given era that standout, so their teams stand out/contend. We are lucky here presently.

Why is #66 for the Steelers not called for a penalty of virtually every play? He is NEVER set.

I don't like how they penalize the defense on these rules: - the QB is allowed to throw the ball away - they changed the Offside rules, penalizing defenders. They should be allowed to get back in their stance or set position unless they make contact with an offensive player.

Tell me if I'm wrong, the only divas at QB I recall are Russell Wilson & Aaron Rodgers. WRs are the consistent NFL divas. To answer your question, no Josh shouldn't get these guys fired by speaking out. Wilson killed the Seahawks short-lived dynasty, while Rodgers' stay with the NYJ was a disaster. JA could inadvertently do that to the Bills.

There's certainly an element of luck. I think you're stretching this argument a bit. There's plenty of cases where key players of teams were drafted in mid to late rounds and contributed heavily. Even some undrafted FAs. If the draft was truly as important as you wrote, the NYJ, NYG, CLE, & the Raiders would be constantly in the playoffs ( well maybe not CLE & the Raiders, they sued the NFL and won, therefore they are frowned upon by Goodell).

Yes, of course you need players. Yes, the salary cap is a huge factor. Teams employ scouts to obtain players as you know . They have their " big boards" to help them out on draft day. It's usually a team effort in drafting the player in each round. It's up to the coaches to put those players in proper schemes to win.

Nope. The draft is designed to help the lesser teams get back to competitive status. Yet teams like the NYJ, CLE, AZ, NYG for instance can't get there. The Cowboys, Steelers, 49ers of yesteryear did just fine picking high in the draft. It's coaching & players. Always will be.

Disagree there. The better teams always seem to reload with smart draft picks, FA signings. The bottom teams who pick in the top 10 frequently don't escape the doldrums. It's coaching, it's organizational philosophy.

It seems highly drafted WRs are nearly as big of a bust as highly drafted QBs. They've tried virtually everything- draft, trades, free agency on WRs. Nothing has really planned out.

I'm not happy they lost, but maybe it's a wake up call. The AFC is truly wide open. Bills may still be the favorites but the gap isn't as large as we thought. All the so called contenders are flawed.
