  1. Spot on. Can I add that Beane has been trying to build this team to take down KC, which is somewhat smart. The problem with that is other AFC teams who were afterthoughts passed the Bills by with their roster building. Anything is possible if the Bills make the playoffs, but I'm prepared for 1 and done.
  2. The curse of doing commercials. It's taken down many a star athlete.
  3. Isn't he involved with a huge lawsuit with the NFL? I'm sure nobody will touch him, collusion. He's kind of like Bill Cowher IMHO. SB winning coaches who really were over rated (Cowher was 1-4 in AFC Title games at home).
  4. I'm not disputing anything. In your original post here you said "I judge you by how you look against the best not against the worst because Josh wakes up for big games" That's why I replied. That's why I said you can't treat a game like your living room light switch. Peace.
  5. I know it's basically impossible to be intense for 17 games, but the preparation should be the same. Prepare for a loss or 2 when they have the Houston-Pittsburgh-Cleveland slate of their schedule if Josh only wakes up for "the good teams" then.
  6. You can't treat a game like your living room light switch. Josh really isn't the problem, but you can't possibly believe what you wrote there
  7. Pretty much spot on. Once Jerry Jones and Stan Kroenke became right-hand men of Goodell, it's definitely all about the money. I think these two guys looked at how Art Modell and Georgia Frontierre duped Paul Tagliabue into money-making schemes for themselves, and Roger Goodell references those situations into more greed for every team. NFL football is pretty much the most popular sport in the USA. The owners & Goodell know this and use our passion against us....PSLs, absurd ticket prices, etc. Sad reality is two NFL franchises are owned by Walmart heirs (Rams, Broncos). Every penny spent there helps those teams, while they keep much of their working staff under 28 hours so they don't have benefits. Maybe that's another subject, but it's still lame as hell.
  8. Breaking news....there are no "easy" NFL games, just in case today didn't ring a bell.
  9. The Bills simply aren't motivated. That comes from within. Sorry folks, if they make the playoffs don't be shocked by a one and done.
  10. Wildly inconsistent and unmotivated. Not a good combo.
  11. Yep. Sky high for KC. One good half vs Balt. It's clear they're unmotivated
  12. I didn't see that, I've got YouTube TV😬
  13. Correct. In today's NFL, these front offices are basically playing a "real" fantasy football game with their rosters. You pay the wrong guy(s), or a slew of injuries, it ruins things in a hurry. It's not as easy as people think. In Cincy's case, they paid the QB & Chase big bucks. Throw in Higgins now, a significant chunk of the cap is taken up. The trade-off is losing guys like Joe Mixon, a pretty good RB, and the other 50 guys get the leftovers (defense anyone? lol). While the cap is great in theory, it also kind of penalizes a team who happens to hit on a draft class, as everybody's contract runs out in 4 or 5 years. Look at some of these QBs who got off to rocky starts and teams chose not to keep them around.... some are thriving now (Darnold, Mayfield, Daniel Jones).
  14. Given the Bills playoff history, nothing is certain as far as who or where they play these up & coming teams.
  15. Jeez, this sounds like a Steelers fan post. McD ain't perfect for sure. Keep in mind the assistant coaches and McD employ strategy sessions during the week, pre season etc. It's up to the players to execute the coaches plan(s).
  16. I can respect that take. My opinion, something is off with KC. Whether it's simply an aging team or a team not as hungry, I'm not sure. They're still dangerous but I think it's unlikely they win the AFC West now. Never count out Mahomes or Reid, but it looks like the end of a remarkable 7 straight AFC title game run.
  17. Actually it was the Bills' SB. The Bills are the team with much to prove. I'm just trying to be objective here. A Bills loss yesterday ( thankfully a no) would have been devastating to the psych of the team. I'm wondering why it took so long to flip the switch this season. Outside of the opener, this has been the only game with lots of intensity. I realize rivalry games can bring that out, but let's see how things progress from here.
  18. at least twice now we've moved into the Steelers-KC-GB protected class
  19. Ok, I see emotions are running high here. The ball was not caught, the Bills were lucky that wasn't a personal foul. There was no need to hit him after the ball hit his arm. If it was the other way around, well....
  20. wow, Bishop with the cheap shots, no call maybe this is the year afterall
  21. Green Bay is what I would call " the worst of the best teams" lol. Wildly inconsistent.
