  1. Yep. Today's GMs have to have good business sense, and even a little bit of luck. It's truly real-world fantasy football with contracts.
  2. His role really diminished after they canned Dorsey. Maybe that's a coincidence, maybe it's not. I mentioned OBJ because he is similarly toxic, threw Eli & Baker under the bus, the Rams released him, now the Ratbirds. Diggs had a couple good QBs with Cousins & Allen, and still whines. I say good riddance.
  3. Not quite on the OBJ level of annoyance, but real, real close
  4. Yes. Squatters rights. I'm going to be pissed if my seats get taken by someone else. My seats go back to the 70s, so maybe that enlightens you.
  5. So over priced seats are ok? Rhetorical question obviously. Here's the thing. You've got a family who's been a loyal Bills customer since the 60s, and the Bills are telling that family they may potentially lose out on their seats, because they didn't splurge for the pricier seats over time? It's wrong.
  6. This is my issue. Seniority should be the #1 criteria for seat selection.
  7. Yes they did. Prior to that they were kind of snake bit. Couldn't get past Pittsburgh, finally did & Denver was in their way.
  8. Today's Bills are the 70s Raiders. Pretty darn good, just not good enough to win the whole shebang.
  9. Or possibly a Denver. Blow it up with cutting ties and absorbing huge cap hits.
  10. Same. They were really banged up with injuries (like the Bills). Never saw a team with 3rd & 4th string starting OTs make the playoffs, especially after losing a stud RB in Chubb and the predator at QB.
  11. The Bengals is what I'm referring to. Many Bills fans perceive the Bengals & Chiefs as the lone AFC threats to Buffalo.
  12. Correct. There's a portion of our fan base that thinks KC & Cincy are the only teams that stand in the Bills way. It's not 2021 anymore, lol.
  13. Right. They finished behind Cleveland, who was also decimated with injuries, & Pittsburgh, who had QB issues. Yes, Burrow makes a difference but Cincy is still the 4th best team in the AFC North.
  14. BenGals went 9-8 last season. Not convinced they are a threat.
  15. Big Ben was weird from day 1. Imagine being that talented, and playing all those years, never getting any kind of endorsement deal(s). The guy was shady, maybe as much as Watson, but the sheriff in Georgia let him off the hook.
  16. Funny thing is that John Elway was the mastermind behind this. Denver's QB situation has been real bad for awhile. Paxton Lynch is still out there haha.
  17. No. Denver & Pittsburgh deserve another 30 years of crap football.
  18. Bills @ Baltimore, MNF. The real MVP vs the voted MVP
  19. I think it's fixable short-term, but long term maybe not. I think that's the same problem Mayfield has, trusting what he sees. Perhaps it's because they are both on the shorter size for a QB at 6' tall.
  20. ...and the Ratbirds, Browns, Texans, Chargers, maybe Pittsburgh, Jax.....the AFC has some really good teams, nothing is a given...
  21. 1984-1996, 13 AFC losses in a row. But it wasn't because the AFC was bad... Cleveland was really good, couldn't get past Elway. Houston's Run & shoot struggled in the red zone. Denver, well their defense really sucked in their SBs. Cincy was pretty solid, the Raiders as well.
  22. I've always said a 47 yarder was not a sure thing, especially back then. I never had any angst towards Norwood.
