Doubs: Skipped 2 practices this week because he's unhappy with his usage. Has now been suspended for conduct detrimental to the team. Targets are down this year because of the injury to Jordan Love. In his 2 games with Malik Willis at QB he had 5 total targets. This is the reason his targets are down from last year. In Jordan Love's return he had 8 targets last week against the Vikings. Had 15 targets or 7.5 per game in the 2 games this year that Jordan Love started, almost 2 more targets than his per game average of 5.64 last year. Is protesting in the wake of Christian Watson's injury which would have assured him more targets and usage going forward.

Just checking in to see if anyone knows how Justin Simmons is doing with Atlanta. Thanks. -
Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams

That's because it quietly got talked about but then didn't take the next step. I wouldn't hold my breath though... Beane has pretty much failed us and Brady has crashed back to reality. -
O'Cyrus Torrence.....He just hasn't taken that next step...

That's what I've been trying to tell people... Cyborg is playing poorly simply to make Josh feel better about his own deteriorating physical skills. Essentially Cyborg is sucking because he's a good teammate. -

At his best, Mayfield does a very good Drew Brees impersonation. He throws a tight spiral and has a live and accurate arm for a guy his size. Lavonte David is the archetype for the modern day off the ball linebacker and one of the first to move the position away from the "plugger" or "stack and shed" linebacker. He had the athleticism and instincts to defeat the play without having to take on offensive linemen. Although I agree he's a future Hall of Famer, he's not Tampa Bay's greatest weakside linebacker... that distinction still belongs to Hall of Famer Derrick Brooks (14 seasons, 11 Pro Bowls, 5 time First-Team All Pro, Defensive POTY).

Then what happened? And how does that make you feel?

As a football player, maybe. As a runner, no way... not even close.

9/29/2024 Bills @ Ravens post game thread
Sierra Foothills replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
As usual, lots of overreaction. I would say the Bills were a bit out-coached in this one. In retrospect I think they should have crowded the box and dared Baltimore to pass. In fairness the Bills were relying on 2 backup LBs and a backup nickel back who all struggled. Cam Lewis is a huge step down from Taron and he whiffed on a few big plays. Also the Bills are weak at safety and I’m glad Rapp was injured and that the Cole Bishop era has begun. Also in fairness to the Bills, Baltimore is still rolling out their Lamar/Henry offense. There’s not much video except 3 games and that offense is still evolving and adding wrinkles. The Bills will be fine and in fact teams often grow more after losses than after wins. We’ll probably see these guys in December. He who laughs last laughs best. -
3-1 so far... hoping for 4-1...

Nice to see Bills draftee Nick Broeker is on an NFL roster. The fact he didn't make our roster is a testament to the Bills young talent in that room. Of course Houston will return to full health just in time for our game against them. On tossup games straight up I have Atlanta over New Orleans, Rans over Chicago, Vikes over Green Bay, Philly over TB, Cinci over Carolina, DC over Arizona, and Raiders over Cleveland... I'm not particularly good at picking NFL games so don't put any weight on these picks.

Week 4 - Bills at Ravens Game Week Thread
Sierra Foothills replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
The departure and return of Jordan Phillips and Shaq Lawson was an interesting "evolution" on the Bills roster. Both players were generally well-liked and legit NFL talents but I agree that both at DT and DE, the Bills are much stronger now. -
The 2022 Bills-Ravens was a great game. Josh made one mistake (early interception) and then willed the team to victory (again). I pinch myself thinking that one of the best football players to ever live, my favorite football player ever, is the quarterback of my favorite football team. I still can't believe my good fortune.

The suggestion about Gouraige was a weak attempt at humor on my part. Maybe I should have called it gowardly. -
Stumped. Would they have gone on to play at a 4 year school?

Yeah Brockport State > Mike Jones was a cheat. But I'm pretty good in this subject.

Week 4 - Bills at Ravens Game Week Thread
Sierra Foothills replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
The one thing I haven't seen mentioned if at all, is that though the Bills have generally defensed Lamar and DH pretty well, this will be the first time they've been on the same team. "Henry is fifth in the league so far this season with 281 rushing yards and Jackson is eighth with 254 rushing yards. They’re the first pair of teammates both to have at least 250 rushing yards in their team’s first three games of a season since 1976, when the Rams’ John Cappelletti had 315 yards and Lawrence McCutcheon had 298." So this is uncharted territory. I'm still confident for the win but I doubt it will be easy. His career took a nosedive when they outlawed Stickum. -
They MUST play THIS version of this song...

He's a high-energy guy... always yelling and exhorting his teammates... slapping backs and... clapping. It was cowardly of them to not elevate Gouraige. -
Travis Brown Brockport State Bengals great QB Ken Anderson also went to Augustana. Also former Bills QB Willie Totten. Back to the game... Brockport State

I long ago got out of the habit of correcting the writing of others... but now that you brought it up... to the bolded, you forgot the question mark. Also the expression is... "I couldn't care less" not "I could care less." You're welcome and that is all. 🙂
