  1. Dude on the left: "It wasn't Trevor's fault. The rest of the team sucked." Dude on the right: "Yeah. It wasn't Trevor's fault."
  2. Let's play word association. What word comes to mind when you view this image?
  3. Who's Lee? You're playing him in fantasy this week, aren't you? I think Roquan Smith can cover any tight end. I'm pretty nervous about Cam Lewis' ability to tackle. It's still a glaring weakness in his game. The Ravens defense looks awesome on paper... Madubuike, Pierce, Oweh, Roquan, Trent Simpson, Van Noy, Marlon Humphrey, Kyle Hamilton, Marcus Williams... It's hard for me to believe that this is an easily exploitable defense. I hope I'm wrong.
  4. I'm hoping Taron is back for this one. He's 2-3 times the tackler that Cam Lewis is. That will be important against the Ravens.
  5. "Victory grows out of harmony" My fingernails are getting longer. This is a good thing. Correct me if I'm wrong but the consensus in the topic about his new contract was that people thought the Bills paid more than they should have? It seemed that way. Maybe it was that short period of time when it was fashionable for experts to say that Burrow was better than Josh but I despise Burrow. Same reason I despise Lamar. BTW, speaking of QBs I dislike, McCorkle made an appearance tonight. Said it from the very start... you're never rebuilding when Josh Allen is your QB. On a related note, at this point you either trust McBeane or you don't. As I've been saying, McDermott's mantra about a growth mindset isn't just catchy coachspeak. This guy lives it. He's not the same guy some people here love to hate on. He's evolved, unlike some posters here.
  6. The question of who is better is absolutely legitimate however as others have suggested, changes in consensus opinion happen much after the fact. Josh surpassed Mahomes last year but people might realize it 2 years from now. To me a better question is: Who do you want quarterbacking your favorite football team? Personally the answer to that question is that it's not even close.
  7. Three parts to my reply: Firstly I believe that the reason Mahomes has Super Bowls and Josh doesn't isn't because Mahomes is better but because of Andy Reid, Steve Spagnuolo, Chris Jones, and Travis Kelce... and to some degree, injury luck. Secondly... as a longtime Bills fan who has lived through Dan Darragh, Dennis Shaw, and many other mediocrities at QB, having Josh Allen as our QB is a BLESSING for which I am forever grateful. As a Bills fan of many decades nothing would make me happier than winning a Super Bowl BUT REGARDLESS of that I am enjoying and appreciating every moment of this era of Bills football. Being able to watch and cheer for Josh brings me a joy and happiness INDEPENDENT OF a Super Bowl. Being able to cheer for a person and player of Josh's caliber is PRICELESS to me, in and of itself. I could not be more thankful that he is the quarterback of my favorite and only team. Thirdly, when Josh wins a Super Bowl I will possibly be more happy for him than for myself for I am just a fan and deserve whatever I get. On the other hand Josh would be getting something he so richly deserves.
  8. That's a good question. Even with the resurgence of the running game, running backs don't seem to dominate in the same way they used to back in the day.
  9. Makes me wonder what Number 10 looks like...
  10. And their D-line could be a problem for the Bills too. Their defense is pretty good though. It'll be a good challenge for the Bills offense. I believe they both rush the passer and play the run well. The Bills are currently -5.5. That sounds about right.
  11. Week 3 Baker Mayfield C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT SACKS RTG 25/33 163 4.9 1 1 7-31 83.3 You think Tom Brady is enjoying Mayfield's loss to the Broncos today?
  12. An iconic player... speed and explosiveness. RIP Eugene.
  13. Devil's advocate, this often seems like a tight divisional game and Niners have no McCaffrey, no Deebo, and no Kittle. Funny how the fortunes of Tua and his tormentor, former Dolphins HC Brian Flores have turned since Tua publicly slammed him. Tua's career is on a drip while Flores is getting accolades for his work in Minny.
  14. I think I saw where HC Pederson said Bigsby was going to play.
  15. GREAT work. Thank you!
  16. What do you think of this syntax?: Also who/what is Ngl?
  17. This is one of the most inaccurate things I've ever read on this board.
  18. Warner certainly got robbed by James Harrison. As I've said before, the "routine" swing pass or screen pass is not as easy to complete as a lot of people think. As far as yards per attempt, a lot of people misconstrue exactly what it means. YPA has more to do with completion percentage than it does depth of target.
  19. Most likely correct. Most knuckle-dragging, mouth breathers sniff glue or paint... which explains the glazed expression and constant stream of drool symptomatic of their kind.
  20. Hmmm... instead of being down 2 DEs as we were last week we're now possibly down 3 with Toohill appearing on the report. I'd rather use Von as sparingly as we can so hope one of these 3 can suit up.
  21. Visionaries those two... Kay Stephenson and Chuck Bullough were also ahead of their times...
  22. Just saw where this is the luxury box they're putting him up in to watch the game...
  23. "Jim, I can name that tune in one note..."
  24. You're both wrong. Edmunds turns 19 on May 2nd. In other words he's 18 years old.
