  1. Also the DPI against Benford late in the 4th quarter was a terrible call. In both cases his technique was near-flawless and the officials just can't seem to resist the temptation to throw the flag.
  2. O'Cyrus Torrence. To those giving a game ball to "their kicker/the uprights"... our kicker missed 4 points and we won by 3. And they scored on a Hail Mary... what am I missing?
  3. @That's No Moon, so with 2 new starters you expect the Bills safety play to not improve during the season?
  4. Yeah, tonight's was a weird game. Yes, Orchard Park's Todd Schlopy with the game winning field goal... and Lawrence Taylor playing as a scab and lining up at tight end on a few snaps.
  5. I'm not gonna get into a tennis match with you but I disagree with most of your takes. For me the bottom line is that the refs attempted to sabotage a football game, often times with little or no justification to do so.
  6. To the bolded, I think that's a bit of an oversimplification. The Kincaid drop on 3rd down on the first drive was a big drop... then the disastrous attempted trick play... and Bass' missed field goal. Any 1 of those plays change the complexion of that game. All 3 went against the Bills. I'd love to play the Ravens in the postseason. Hopefully Oliver, Milano, and Miller are added to the current group. I'm really glad that Dorian and several other young players have received lots of live game experience. That's an intangible investment that could payoff later on this year. The NFL season is a marathon. At 4-2 the Bills are still on schedule. There's lots of room for improvement and hopefully they peak at the right time. To the bolded... the Bills trio of CBs in Rasul, Christian, and Taron might be the best in the league. If the safety play continues to improve our pass D will be just fine. It was interesting that Bishop didn't parlay his 2 game audition into a starting spot... and Rapp vindicated the coaches' decision tonight.
  7. I don't know why but officiating in the NFL is consistently poor. Most of the time I watch an NFL game I'm irritated by the officiating and feel sorry for at least one of the teams playing. What really doubles down on their suckitude is when they make a poor call so they then make a poor makeup call... because two bad calls is better than one bad call. It's too often Super Effin' irritating watching these games.
  8. The win makes it more likely Bass survives at least another week That said, I also wouldn't be surprised if he was released I agree with the observations made by others that historically it SEEMS that slumping kickers sort out their problems AFTER changing teams... I think this is because the change of scenery/fresh start is psychologically liberating.
  9. Style points are meaningless. They won: in division against a team which always plays us tough on the road on national tv to break a losing streak against a team very motivated to win after a coaching change
  10. He's a dependable runner. He'll get you at least whatever yards are available on any given play and usually a few more. On a related note... does Cook catch that downfield heave? Davis looked great tonight.
  11. It's probably a good thing that the shopping mall industry is in contraction.
  12. My gut feeling is that you're not a trial lawyer.
  13. The irony of the endless Keon Coleman debate is that aside from Shakir he's the Bills best wideout and deserving of more snaps and targets. Put differently, the irony is that Coleman is not the problem... it's the other wide receivers aside from he and Shakir that are the problem. But Coleman is the lightning rod because his draft selection made many unhappy.
  14. I don't think so Simon but that's only my impression. What I'm definitely seeing is that he has a longstanding habit of escaping the pocket to his right to create and the Ravens started a copy cat deal with the spy plus blitzes and dogs from the defensive left to take that comfort escape route from him. It's like "The Jordan Rules"... something teams start doing to contain a superstar. It looks to me like Josh and Brady have not adjusted to this. I'd ordinarily say he has to climb the pocket more but with a spy, that's not always a good idea. I believe that the counter has to be to escape left more often and change up the plaster rules accordingly. I realize escaping left for a right-handed QB is not ideal but neither is running right into the defenses trap.
  15. Darnold is morphing again...
  16. I think there was a breakdown besides having only a linebacker/edge in the general area. Wilson is their number one receiver...
  17. Incredibly as poor as Rodgers is playing, he's outplaying Sam Darnold.
  18. I've been saying that Elam should be used in some mixed looks... they should let him try traveling in a zone context. I'm also pretty sure that Jamarcus Ingram would do a better job as Taron's backup than Cam Lewis is doing. I'm pretty done with the Cam Lewis experiment.
  19. He's an excellent player. Proving it this year after breaking out last year. Excited for a more playing time for Javon Solomon now that Von's on suspension. Gold Hoping for an appearance from @Jimmy Spagnola Defintely getting reduced. Rodgers is more immobile than Kirk Cousins. Like Brady at the end, he doesn't have the level of mobility that's needed to succeed in the NFL. If his protection was better he'd have a fighting chance but their O-line appears to be below average. Bad combo.
  20. Bills 31 Texans 23 Isn't every thread? Thank you.
  21. As your attorney I advise you against eating at Popeyes when you're in Buffalo. "As of 2021, Popeyes has 3,705 restaurants,[2] which are located in more than 46 states and the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and 30 countries worldwide." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popeyes
  22. To whatever degree this has value, I don't really know but thanks very much for posting this. 👍 Meaning no ill will towards Taylor Rapp but I hope Cole Bishop takes this opportunity and runs with it.
  23. Bates is a great player for sure. I'm wondering if anyone has the "almighty" PFF grades and that sort of stuff.
