Last year (2023) was the o-line. It's a touchdown if Dawkins wasn't dog walked into Allen has he was throwing to a wide open Shakir in the endzone. We were about to take the lead but Dawkins got manhandled.

The poster was talking about financial investment. He specifically talked about earning money through selling games. Of course the term “investment” can be applied in many facets, such as investing in your health - but we aren’t talking about that type of investment so it seems silly to even mention it. What in the world makes you think anyone is going to pay 25% more? Especially several years from now toward the end of Allen’s career? Look at Jets PSLs. You can pick them up for pennies on the dollar. Same goes for Giants. Same goes for Cowboys. Same goes for Panthers. ”Jets fans who tried to sell PSLs this year lost an average of $3,233 per seat. Giants fans lost an average of $189, even though their team won the Super Bowl last year. And Cowboys PSL owners lost an average of $2,390 per seat since their stadium opened in 2009.” - old article but shows how PSL’s don’t typically appreciate

If you want to argue any other definition, feel free, but it will be a waste of time as 99% of the population agrees with the above.

No it's not. An investment implies the earning of profit.

The reason that they are on pace to sell out in March/April (if that’s true) is because they already adjusted PSL figured based on sales numbers. I doubt they put PSL numbers in stone. They have probably oscillated quite a bit.

Network pricing to watch all NFL games in 2025
Einstein replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Where’s the line, though? Walmart made over $600 billion last year—should we all just fill our carts and walk out because they’ve “made enough”? Well, if everyone did that, the business would collapse. That’s the problem with justifying theft based on company profits - It literally relies on others doing the right thing so that you can do the wrong thing. The logic is: “I don’t have to pay because enough others already did.” That only works if a critical mass doesn’t think like you. It's freeloading, plain and simple. Simon’s point about collusion and lack of competition is more compelling - but even that doesn’t justify piracy in my opinion. It might justify regulatory pressure, not theft. PS to all who responded to my original post: I'm not ignoring you - I just don't want to clutter this thread with replies. The reply above synthesizes what I would have said in each anyway. -

I will never understand people advocating illegal streams. For some reason, it being media makes it pallatable for people to say things like like this. But most of us would never say “oh that restaurant meal was expensive - but there are ways to skip out the door before paying without the waitress knowing”. Why not just straight up say “i’m a thief”?- 201 replies

You think so? Hmm. I see a future where AI programs itself in the not so distant future.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
Einstein replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
There is absolutely no way you can look at the two stadiums and say with a straight face that there is not a large difference. One looks like it was built in 2010 and the other looks like it was built in 2025. Then there is the Browns new stadium - which is the ugliest stadium I think i’ve ever seen. But it does at least look like it is being built this decade. Boy is it hideous though. -
STEM with a physical component (ie: physician, dentist, etc). STEM that just looks at microscopes all day will eventually be absorbed by AI as well. Same with computer science. Even worse even. I see computer science majors at our University and feel bad for them.

Personally I think it looks dated right now. Look at what the Browns and Titans are building at the same exact time. -
That's a good point.

So what? They are ranking the top LB's overall. They are not ranking the top LB's who played a full season last year. For example: Would a 2009 ranking of QB's not include Tom Brady because he missed the previous season? Of course not. He would be top 3, because he is greatness and we didn't need to see his most recent season to know that. If this thread proves anything its that the majority of NFL fans don't pay close attention to the rest of the NFL and its players. Not having *our* guy on the list doesn't make the list crap. Why WOULD Bernard and Milano be on the list? Milano was quite frankly not great last season (I dont blame him - he was coming off of two injuries). And Bernard looked half of what he was in 2023. I dont see what there is to complain about here.

Who was invited to Josh and Hailee's wedding?
Einstein replied to Willie West's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I'm shocked by the amount of people claiming to have been to all these open-bar weddings in the 70's. It was quite rare back then (in my neck of the woods anyway) and people would almost brag about it had they been to one. Especially considering that the average cost of a wedding back then was only $2k. I just did a little research and found a post by a bartender who did weddings in the 70's - he said the open bar was around $600 for 2 hours. So the open bar would have been about 30% of the total wedding cost. Long story short, maybe the others in this thread have very affluent friends. Or maybe you and I just grew up around very poor people 🤣 -

Maybe im wrong. Or maybe its regional? Im honestly not sure. My understanding was that open bar is a (relatively) new phenomenon. Most people I knew back in the day could not afford open bar, and also it was frowned upon because religion had a much stronger grip on society. I looked it up and as of last year, only 62% of weddings had an open bar. -

Same! Large italian family and my papa owned one of the first liquor stores in a suburb of Buffalo. Wine was an every day thing. But yeah, open bar is a relatively new thing. It started becoming popular in the late 80's and early 90's. Before that, the vast majority of weddings were cash bar -

You must be young! Weddings without an open bar (cash bar) were the *norm* until about 25 or so years ago. Having an open bar in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's was quite rare. Of course, weddings were not the extravaganza that they have become today. But even today, only about 60% of weddings have an open bar. -
