Yeah but we fielded a real team that opening game. We are fielding a mash unit this year. I’ll be shocked if we don’t lose by a TD or more.
-
I genuinely don’t know how we win this game. Our defensive backfield is a shell.

Gabe Davis signing with the Bills (going to practice squad)
Einstein replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Doesn’t matter. Josh is worse when Gabe is on the field. This is proven. If having a player on the field makes your QB worse, he is not a player worth having. -
Maybe he isn't. I have only watched him play twice and he is still young. But a few of those passes yesterday were jaw dropping.
-
He had some *really* nice passes. Pro level passes.

Parsons traded to Green Bay, given $188 million contract

Never. But that has nothing to do with what Shredder was saying. He was talking about the market as a whole. -

Chris Jones is still the highest paid DT in the league… by a lot. -

I’d take Chris Jones at 31M every day of the week, over Parsons at 47M. Actualy, i’d take Chris Jones at 31M every day of the week, even if Parsons was 31M too. (Not that Jones is available, just making a point) -

Yeah and Parsons was part of the reason it was putrid. -

In general, I wish Beane made more deals. Id rather pay known commodities top dollar than constantly taking swings (and a lot of misses) at draft picks. BUT, in this particular case, Parsons is a run game liability... as much as @DrDawkinstein doesnt want to admit it. -
On veterans that are not toast, Greg.
-
Yeah. Yikes. I dont know how anyone can disagree with you.
-
Yeah he's not a run defender. People just have tor recognize that and judge him on what he is here to do: rush. And he is a darn good rusher.
-
I have never understood the J Phillips hate.

Yes, we learned not to argue with ignorant people. I brought up an actual stat. You replied with "3 plays in a highlight video" lol. It was so absurd it was not worth responding to.
-
Every time I see this kids (err, 2 games) he has played well.
-
i’d let bass kick
-
It’s too bad Ciarlo isn’t going to make this team
-
Feel more confident in Josh staying on the field on 4th down.
-
there’s the Bass we know and love

Lol, no. We ran STRAIGHT AT PARSONS. I don’t have the statistic at the top of my tongue anymore, because it’s been a few years, but if you’d like me to prove you wrong, i’m happy to dig it up. But it was something like we ran to Parsons side, or Parsons hole, 70%+ of the time. We were running straight at Parsons. Non stop. Yep. Over and over and over again.
-
Do you recall how we completely neutralized the Dallas D (and Parsons) by simply running straight at them?
-
He is a liability against the run.
-
Yeah over half of their revenue is directly tied to their dome.
