    In the same vein: I think we should be throwing on the QB pull more often. Keeping the defense honest about having to defend both the pass and run when Allen runs wide would be deadly.

    This happens more often than you think (both in the waiver wire and draft) and it’s not bizarre reporting at all. Teams don’t want to waste a claim and time on a player that will refuse to show up. Who will sow division. Who will create a media distraction right before the playoffs. Agents make known to teams who the player is willing to go to.

    The idea is that non-playoff teams would respect his wishes and not claim him.
