Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

The stadium is apparently going to be completely finished before we get full renderings. -

I think those posters were expecting wider and cushioned seats, like some of the new stadiums have in the lower level. Sofi and Vikings and Falcons for example: The upper level (cheap) seats in these other stadiums have the same seats as we are installing in our lower level (expensive) seats in our new stadium. -

Yes but this thread is not an example of that. Seats and bathrooms are likely the top 2 amenities fans that I personally think about when judging a stadium. -

That's most of the fanbase. I thought the purpose of less seats were more comfortable, wider seats. I guess I am misremembering. -

I just looked up what you are talking about. They look a bit larger than the current stadiums seats in my opinion, but not by as much as my brain was imagining they would be. That's probably my fault for imagining something larger. I think SoFi's seating has ruined my thinking for what seats (and stadiums) can be. These aren't large people and they're pretty tight together. Much of our fanbase is on the heftier side of the folks pictured: -
We may have a skinny WR masquerading as a TE, but at least we don’t have a QB with tinyyyy hands! This is a real photo of Kenny Pickett (left) and Joe Flacco (right) both gripping the ball at Browns OTA’s.

Taiwanese baseball or real baseball?

I used to be in the “RB are a dime a dozen” camp … but every time I think bank to last season, I get nervous about the idea of not having Cook. That 4th down TD he had against KC was pretty eye opening. Very, very, very few offensive players in the NFL score there. The defender had him dead to rights. I still have a hard time with the idea of paying a RB $15M, but I also recognize that Cook is special. I hope they find a middle ground. And I hope he gets off social media.

Efficiency is due to Josh Allen. In Vegas he was just thrown to a ton when they were losing by 30 points.
-
That’s the one I thought you meant. My memory simply failed me on year/team. He was targeted nearly 100 times that year (almost double what we targeted him) and he still had less TD’s and less yards per reception and a lower success % and a lower yards per target. Last season was his best. By far. Yeah. Anyone who looks at receptions to determine year is being statistically lazy.
-
Mack absolutely had his best year here. I’m sure you’re looking at 2021 with Miami when they forced him the ball 100 times and he got blowout mock-up duty, but last season was absolutely his best season. To that point, he received his largest contract ever after playing with Allen. After his 2021 season, he got a $2M contract. He just signed an $8M contract after playing with Allen.

Jags fans were done with him after 1 year 😂

Honestly it kind of sucks. Cant stream multiple TV's.

Yep. Allen was statistically at his worst when throwing to Gabe.

Yikes. Well its not hard to see why he fell. -
It's coaching. And that's not a knock on our coaching. Both staffs are good - there's is just better. Example: The defensive blitz that Spags called on 4th down was absolutely masterful. Listening to Fitz and Allen and others say that he set the Bills offense up ALL GAME and ALL YEAR for just that *one call* is incredible. He had been showing that same look, over and over and over and over again, for months. But never end blitzed out of it. Because he knew that he would switch it up at the exact moment he needed to. Contrast that to Joe Brady ... who went back to the well and called the same 4th down concept he has run all year (and KC was prepared for).

Who is our worst match up in the AFC as of now?
Einstein replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
I completely understand the rationale for Baltimore but until hey actually beat us when it matters, its KC. In fact, im not sure how anyone can pick anyone other than KC. They are 4-0 in the playoffs against us. This is like saying David isn't Goliaths biggest matchup because Gandolf is looking pretty strong this year. -
Can he shave 10ths off? Because the kid is slow as molasses. He plays slower than his 40 time too … imo.

I agree (in general). But here is the question specific to Coleman; What traits does he have that makes you feel he will improve? His major limiting factor is not improveable: Speed. And McD/Beane separately and openly questioned his worth ethic. I think he is going to flash here or there, keeping fans clinging to hope, but never fully materialize.
