The comparison really isn’t there outside of the score. Last year, we gave up 19 first downs to the Bears. This year? 31! Last year, we gave up 340 yards. This year? 528! Last year, time of possession was almost even. This year? Bears had it for almost 40 minutes!

I said this all last season and people mocked me constantly. He has neverrrrrrr been good. Problem is they don’t have anyone to replace him with because they missed badly on Cole and have made no other real moves to solidify the safety position. Rolling into another season with often injured Rapp and liability Hamlin wasn’t a good idea last year and isn’t a good idea this year.

They may cut Cole Bishop. Which would be shockingly early but he sucks. PS, I love how Ben Johnson plays offense. Even in the pre-season. So hard to defend, even with limited QB’s.

A lot of yada yada yada but not addressing the point - this is not just a game of backups. Plenty of starters, borderline starters, and second stringers played. And got blown out of the water. Lets not pretend like this is all 3rd/4th guys who aren’t making the team.
