  1. We rarely punish QB’s when they run. It’s one of my biggest gripes with our defense. I would be instructing our runners to level Mahomes, Lamar, etc when they run. I’ll take the 15 yard penalty a few times. I’m not worried about them retaliating and trying to level our tank of a QB. If anything, i’d be more worried about tendons and ligaments in cold weather (they become more stiff and have less ability to stretch).
  2. Tackling that freight train known as Derrick Henry is going to suck in cold weather.

  4. “The Vikings, I assume, are aware that they’re down 18 points” - Joe Buck Their play calling is as if they’re up 18 points.
  5. They’re still running the ball …. ………
  6. I can’t believe they punted. A hail mary would have been a better option than punting. Youre down THREE SCORES with 11 minutes left.
  7. So frustrating to watch. Throw it away. Throw it into double coverage. Do anything but take a sack there.
  8. THEYRE PUNTING?
  9. Minnesota should literally never run again the rest of the game.
  10. Its too bad - all the characters in the NFL are gone. And I don’t mean the fake-outrage-fluff we have now. I mean TRUE characters. Miss it.
  11. What is Minnesota thinking with these play calls.
  12. Darnold is making routine throws look extremely difficult. And now he just threw a 2 point conversion pass outside of the endzone
  13. Come on Darnold… just let the ball fall out of your hands!
  14. Yeah, just let the ball dribble out of your hand in the weakest wrist flick ever seen and all is good.
  15. VERY loose interpretation of a “throw”.
  16. He 100% said something was his fault. What that something is, we don’t know. Allen was asked in the press conference if Vinovich apologized and Josh responded along the lines of “I won’t get into that”.
  17. Easier said than done, but we also simply need to score every time we have the ball. If we can put Baltimore into a quick 14 point hole, it will be tough for them to continue running over and over and over again.
  18. Not exactly the type of weather that makes guys inclined to want to tackle a 250 pound running back. Hurts more when it’s cold. Guys gotta come amped up and stay that way.
  19. Absolutely shocked at how good he looked today.
  20. he didn’t have to be anywhere near the ball. He just had to block the person going to the ball from getting there. this is taught in middle school football. edit: On second look, Shakir actually made a half ass attempt to block him
  21. Shakir was right there and just chose not to block the Bronco. Screams coaching to me.
  22. No idea what game you were watching but the ST’s were below average as usual. - Martin almost got blocked on our one punt (watch it again). His lead up is soooo long. - Gave up a first down on a fake punt that Tony Romo predicted after watching them turn their backs in practice when guarding the gunners (but apparently Smiley didn’t). - No one blocked Denver’s punt team from downing the ball at the 1 yard line. All it would take is blocking the one Bronco near the endzone. I suppose you can say they didn’t give up anything catastrophic, but they certainly did not play well.
  23. That doesn’t come until the divisional round.
  24. Milano was shocking. He went from looking lost to being dominant in just a couple weeks.
