  1. This is the first time i’ve seen him successfully reintroduce the spin since before his ACL injury. Prior to yesterday, he was only speed rushing around the edge or getting stonewalled. This was really nice to see! Should have been his first sack of the season. I added a slow-mo version if you let the clip play out.
  2. Agreed. Crazy impressive turnout by Bills fans.
  3. 6th ranked actually, in points given up per game. Which is a far more telling stat than yards given up, wouldn’t you say? The offense tied the highest points output we have had in 7 weeks.
  4. 4, actually. Including the game clinching TD. https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/252550-the-offense-is-better-without-gabe-davis/?do=findComment&comment=8878849
  5. This is satire, right? I honestly can’t tell sometimes on this forum.
  6. Norwood was 55% from 40+ yards before wide right. He was not good from distance.
  7. Has he? His best season ever was 48 receptions for 7 TD’s and a 51.6% catch rate. We are 2-2 the past two seasons when he has over 100 yards.
  8. The issue with our QB sneak is they don’t always get a full yard. Lots of half yard gains, along with some 1 or 2 yard gains. And it has become our ONLY short yardage play. Im waiting for a wrinkle to it. Perhaps a quick flip out to the RB from the same formation? Or a bootleg?
  9. Your analysis of the game is a bit myopic in my opinion. Having those playmakers on the field, with their speed, was stressing the Steelers defense. Did you notice we had more open receivers this week (the first two TD’s were very open) than usual? It’s in part due to the stress that the speed on the field had on the Steelers. They had to compensate for it. And this man has to get the ball more:
  10. He jogged off the field, so there’s that
  11. Woh! Amazing news. He could be back for AFCCG?
  12. Sigh. Knox is an enigma. He does so many good things… but then drops a wide open pass that hits him square in the hands. Frustrating. I’d also like to see Kincaid go up and get the ball too. He would have had a 2nd TD if he didn’t wait for the ball to get to him (allowed the defender to deflect it). If he had went up and hand-caught it (ala Gronk), he would unlock a new level.
  13. For me, it’s not about individual performance. It’s about the team. Having Shakir, Hardy and Sherfield on the field gives us three explosive and twitchy playmakers that stress the defense. Its also no coincidence in my opinion that Gabe doesn’t play today and Allen doesn’t throw an INT for only the second time in 12 or so weeks.
  14. Even if he has a “good” game, it stinks that we lose all those snaps for other player, who are legit playmakers.
  15. The playoffs are an exceptionality bad time to be in bad stretch (if that’s the case). One kick can end a season.
  16. I forgot I had posted a Gabe thread last week, and it was just bumped. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Sorry mods! Please feel free to merge if you’d like.
  17. Is refreshing. Gabe being out allowed us to get our playmakers like Hardy and Shakir on the field more often (more snaps to go around). And they both delivered at key times! And it’s not just the opponent. That Steelers defense was #6 in the NFL in points against, and that was the MOST points the Steelers gave up all season (and that’s even with TWO missed field goals).
  18. Bass is now 78% for the year (5th worst in NFL) and we haven’t let him attempt a field goal over 50 yards in 3 months. He also just missed a 20-some yard field goal. Can we trust him to make a game winning Playoff/Super Bowl kick at this point?
