  1. I couldn't think of a better way to explain. Side note I was very sure that story was bs but I think it was actually true wasn't it??
  2. Both things are true. Beane hasn't brought in enough elite talent around Josh and Mcd is prone to getting outclassed by the best coaches in the league. I think while we lack very high end talent we're full near the top of the league in good players. Groot is an example. Good to very good, not elite. A bit hard to explain, requires a bit of nuance. In madden terms we have a lot of guys in the 80's but few in the 90's.
  3. Great question. 👍 Google told me no cap relief.
  4. Hopefully they can keep juicing until they come back!
  5. I like him. Feel like he hasn't gotten a great shot at wr. Hard nosed, hard running guy who at worst is just a returner but can also contribute on offense as a gadget guy. With a real qb maybe can develop more.
  6. And I think we have more draft capital than other contenders too. Gotta turn those higher picks into high impact players.
  7. Thanks. Didn't sound right. Just that 40 time would probably score him higher than 5 alone.
  8. His RAS being 5 doesn't jive with the measurables posted. Where'd you get that?
  9. Sam is decent now. How do we look with Mitch T? Not good. I dont know where you're getting 5-7 for TE's. Maybe. Also maybe bottom 5. I don't think we know Kincaid enough yet. Last season he was meh though apparently hurt.
  10. Not enough elite talent. Assess the team without Josh. We are not good without him. Most teams aren't, without their qb, but the best teams are. Balt, Detroit, Philly (lost a lot of quality this offseason tho). 1 more elite piece and we're there. Cb, DT preferably imo.
  11. Anyone else think that with all these signings we may move up in the draft? Could be the opposite too, I've heard rumblings that this draft is weak. Maybe we'll move some picks to next year? I may be wrong but I don't see too many open spots for rookies.
  12. Yes to an extent though. Many thought Barkley was injury prone. Some turn it around. But others are prone to injury. I like the deal. He needs stats to score another long term contract.
  13. This is one time I hope a guy got paid a bit too.
  14. He's kinda like the Hollins on defense? Swiss army knife type guy? Interesting signing.
  15. Oh thank God I screwed that up. Also thank him I'm not our gm.
  16. This is a bowling ball right to the nads.
  17. This may have already been shared. He's slower than Keon? I didn't think that was possible. "Jesse Palmer's 40-yard dash time is 4.78 seconds. "
  18. Are they tanking? When's the next Manning getting drafted?
  19. Ok, guys that can separate is what we need. This may be sneaky good. Not in the tier of wr I was hoping for but with the prices this FA this might be best.
  20. I'm frustrated because it seems like we're passing on elite talent for above average. We might as well be called the Buffalo Josh Allens. He's pretty much the entire team. Lots of offseason left though.
  21. Everyone is assuming the offense will be just as good next year but our recievers outside of Shakir are awful. Our overall talent outside of Josh is awful. Hopefully free agency will be better than us not snatching up elite players available. We shouldn't stand pat on offense even though it was good. Keep improving.
  22. Yup. Am I wrong about Slayton? His stats scream jag (though I get he's had bad qbs).
  23. Idk. I've watched the Giants. I've seen him flash ability for a play then disappear most of a season. Seems very much like a jag to me. I'd rather have old man Lockett for a year. Or better yet, DK F'N METCALF!!!!!
