  1. When I saw Brady was going to become a broadcaster, I guess it didn’t quite click for me that he’d be calling Bills games. Makes me sick.
  2. I remember him being decent in run support when he was at his peak. Maybe we can sign him this offseason with the thought of trying him at Safety. I wouldn’t do it in-season.
  3. LA was on the end of favorable calls all night.
  4. They weren’t gonna drive the entire field anyway, but Vikings got boned there.
  5. Stafford is so good, I’m glad he won a chip.
  6. Wasn’t Quessenberry the tackle that got Allen’s UCL torn?
  7. If that is a catch, then Kincaid’s should have been a catch last week for sure. And maybe Coleman’s TD catch as well.
  8. It’s very hard to play CB in the NFL.
  9. I'm pretty sure any sized LB can get their ankle stepped on in the pile.
  10. I would sign him to keep him off the Ravens. I don’t think he would necessarily replicate his success here. Baltimore seems to have a very unique scheme.
  11. In Cleveland I've also read rumors that Cooper was miffed that Cleveland wouldn't give him an extension this past offseason. So more contract related stuff.
  12. I put him in a similar category as Ed Oliver but with a more consistent floor. Above average player that can be a game wrecker if he gets the right matchups. Otherwise a decent run stopper and edge setter. I rarely see him 3 yards past the QB totally out of the play like Von. Oliver seems to totally disappear at times and is injured a lot. I’m not sure what a “middle class” salary would be for a DE, but that’s what I would give him. He isn’t a star, and I wouldn’t give him star money.
  13. I would take 2024 fully healthy Rice over 2024 banged up Hopkins for sure. He’s a much more dynamic player. He can beat man coverage and take it to the house. Hopkins just isn’t that guy anymore. Hopkins isn’t going to be a game changer in the same way, but he’s going to be a reliable target for Mahomes, move the chains and have the veteran savvy to get open during the scramble drill.
  14. What? They signed Juju who isn’t 100% healthy ever because his knees are totally shot (that’s why he got cut by the Pats). They made the deal because Hopkins was the best WR they could get for reasonable trade compensation while staying under the cap. It doesn’t mean he’s 100% healthy or prime Hopkins. Just that he will improve them. He won’t be as good as Rice, but they had to do something, and he should help them.
  15. 3/7 games he’s barely thrown the ball for a full half of the game. That isn’t counting the Titans game where he only had 11 pass attempts in the first half which is low. I doubt that will continue, and his volume stats will improve. But at the same time he’ll probably accumulate some turnovers along the way.
  16. I don't think Allen will get it, but MVP has a serious recency bias. Big performances at the end of the year in prime time matchups are the most important thing. That put Lamar over the edge last year. Bills vs Chiefs and Bills vs Lions are pretty big at the end of the year, but no prime time. The sports media is like a hive mind that latches on to whatever they saw last. Notice I called them sports media and not sports "journalists".
  17. Then congrats to Goff, because there is no way Mahomes will get it with the year he is having.
  18. Hot take, Lamar is great but hugely helped by his scheme. Almost every throw I see him make is to an almost wide open player. Kudos to him for finding the correct read, but if there was an NFL redraft Allen would go #2 even if Lamar has 3 MVPs.
  19. The weird thing about Lamar’s huge games is he always has a super small number of completions. 5 TDs and almost 300 yards on 17 completions? Just bizarre.
  20. Bucs defense completely gave up on that drive. They were demoralized, just sad.
  21. Might be Henry at this point
  22. Not dead yet! Still in the ICU and circling the drain though.
  23. I think if it is close between him and another player, then he won’t get it. Voter fatigue is a thing.
  24. Baltimore’s entire scheme is dependent on holding and OPI. Why do you think they are so good at screens?
