The FG was 15 yards wide, I don't think throwing it away would have made a difference. Allen probably thought he was making the conservative safe choice to just eat it and take the gimme 3 points.

That was a really weird half. Bills offense was basically unstoppable but only got 3 drives and one ended in a missed chip shot FG. On the other side of the ball the Dolphins seem to make every 3rd and long when their drives should really be stalling. Brady is too obsessed with this conservative, shorten the game, wait for your opponent to make a mistake philosophy. We have the best QB in the league, we should try to attack a bad Dolphins secondary down the field.

I would say it's on special teams. We should be winning by 3.

The behind the QB view showed nobody close to open. Allen definitely could have tried to extend that, but went conservative for the FG.
