  1. The Broncos have a WR with the first name "Lil'Jordan". That's a new one for me.
  2. Defense was able to keep the Colts out of the endzone for 6 straight plays...kind of unreasonable to expect more. Would love to see that Douglas penalty replay...
  3. I'm not sure how our defense performs as well as it does. Seems to really lack talent. I guess that points to good coaching.
  4. We have the best QB in the league. Expectations are high.
  5. For those saying Hamlin is always in position and that's why he should be starting over Bishop, take a look at the Henry run and that Taylor run.
  6. I think we all agree, but bad play calling puts the offense way behind the sticks and in 3rd and long which is tough.
  7. Here's an idea for Brady. Don't run directly at Buckner, he's very good. Hope that helps!
  8. It was like he decided to throw it before the snap, like it was a set play. To be fair Samuel stopped running his route.
  9. If the CB lines up on the line just have Johnson push him over.
  10. Johnson has as many picks in 3 games as Sauce Gardner has in his entire career.
  11. If Hamlin had NFL speed he would have beaten the RB and gotten a sack. So in a way it was good that he was so slow. It allowed Flacco to throw the pick.
  12. This would require the refs to put their ego aside and overturn their own call. Pass interference was challengeable for like a season and it was done away with because the refs would never overturn their own call that was a judgement call. Maybe if there was an independent sky ref, or ref in a 3rd party location (call into "New York" for the review) not affiliated with the refs that made the original call it would work.
  13. Now that you mention it…
  14. This might be the conspiratorial part of my brain being irrational, but I think the league wanted to keep Miami relevant and we got hosed by the refs this game.
  15. I like Dak, it’s too bad he had to play for the Cowboys.
  16. Allen needs a 300+ yard, 4 TD game to keep pace with the MVP pack. Gonna be tough with these WR.
  17. It was borderline, but I would have called it. His head got yanked down with the helmet. I'm guessing the ref didn't see it, because they would normally call that I think.
  18. In my mind the facemask penalty exists because it is a safety issue, not necessarily because it gives an unfair advantage (although it does). From the perspective of safety they should call it no matter what the intent is. You could nearly rip a players head off by accident with a facemask with zero intent while making a tackle. I agree that it’s a matter of degree on whether it should be called. I think they got rid of the 5 yard facemask for that reason (so small incidental facemasks don’t get called).
  19. Looking forward to watching Hollins try to run under deep passes.
  20. I think every team should have 2 or 3 "go for two" plays that they practice every week and have down perfect. It should be so smooth that it's basically automatic. I guarantee you that the KC Chiefs do this and could score a 2 point conversion with their eyes closed. That 2 point play the Bengals ran was vanilla and easy to defend.
  21. I'm really surprised they didn't call the hit to the head on Burrow. The guy pulled his face mask all the way down. That's pretty much an automatic call.
  22. I'm saying play for OT. The Ravens would have to get into really short FG range to win in regulation still (like under a 40 yard FG in 30 seconds) because Tucker stinks this year.
