Our LBer play has been very poor this year. We play super bend-but-don’t-break defense in part to protect our safeties which is a super weak positional group. We have no pass rush. Adding Cooper is great, but the WR group is still pretty weak. Depth behind Taron Johnson (Cam Lewis) has been really bad, and Johnson has been injured a lot this season. If we break the bank on a pass rusher, Mahomes will just carve up our poor LBers and Safeties. This just isn’t an “all in” roster. It was supposed to be a re-tool year where we take our cap medicine and some younger players get reps.

All in would be trading multiple high picks for someone like Myles Garrett. It’s what the Rams did during their recent SB. I don’t think it’s the right move for this roster.

Cover 1- Why And How Miami Gashed The Bills In The Run Game

Cook’s drop and Allen’s called back running TD were the same drive. -
Do we even have the cap space to do anything? I wouldn’t go all in this year. 25% of the cap is dead cap. Keep our draft capital and continue to build the team. Sign some great FA this offseason.

Kansas City/Tampa Bay on Monday Night Football

Chiefs don’t look that great IMO. We need to remember that the Bucs have a bottom-3 defense in the entire league. They were also missing their top 2 WR. Some 4th round TE was by far their most dangerous weapon. This was like if the Bills played the Jags with Brian Thomas Junior and Christian Kirk out. Would you have been satisfied winning a game like that at home in OT? I would think most people here would be disappointed in that result. -

Curiously, KC seems to NEVER get a penalty late in the game during crucial drives. On the other side, their opponents seem to ALWAYS get penalties late in games during crucial drives. And when KC actually does get a legitimate penalty late in the game, Mahomes blows an actual fuse on the sideline. Crying, screaming, and acting hysterical. That’s how surprising it is to him to be on the wrong side of a penalty late in a game. -

I think my least favorite play of the game was Hopkins flopping so obviously on a push after the play, and the ref giving him the 15 yard call. Isn’t it embarrassing for a ref to get fooled like that? This isn’t soccer ffs. -

Crazy thing is, this guy is notorious. He led the league in penalties last season by a lot! This isn’t even the first prime time game where the most discussed thing is J. Taylor illegal formation and false starts being uncalled! It’s like the third one! -

No way he goes for 2. In theory the Bills have a much better defense than the Bucs this year. In practice we know the outcome would be similar. -

Especially with how tired the defense is at the end of the game. Just no chance. -

He does it all game every game. It isn’t shocking at all. They give the tackles a little leeway and he takes full advantage. Sort of like give an inch take a mile. -

That spot for Kelce was super generous. Didn’t end up mattering though. -

Both defenses pretty gassed. Big disadvantage to be on defense first in OT. -

Baker Mayfield is such a likable player. I’m remembering that awesome game he came into LA and led the game winning drive. Maybe 3 years ago with Hill and a prime Kelce. -

Basically every time Mahomes escapes the pocket you can bet some pass rusher is getting held. Happened on his amazing left handed throw away. -

If Aikman hated every QB that was better than him he’d hate like half the league. He’s probably just bitter about some mean things Bills fans said to him in the 90s. -

Torry Holt still isn’t in the HOF. It is very hard for WR to make it and right now Hopkins is way down the list even with a ring. Maybe he will make it as one of those old-timers veteran slots. -

It definitely wasn’t a facemask, but it was holding. Maybe they can convert a 1st and 20 instead of 1st and 25. -

Well, he’s done the same thing like half a dozen times before. Acts like his ankle is falling off, and limps around. But then once the ball is snapped he looks fine. -

KC fans cheering an injury, just classless. Looks like a high ankle sprain to me.
