    Everybody is saying the 49ers are in "desperation mode". Based on my viewing they are in "mail it in mode". Bills by a billion.

    I kind of wonder if Mahomes will have a meltdown when his team is down 20 in the 4th quarter during the playoffs, or will he just quietly resign himself to his fate? Beating the Panthers on a walk off FG is not a good sign at all.

    I think the numbers started out nice and round, but scale with the changes in the salary cap.

    I think Purdy is basically Tua. They are both pretty good. Definitely starting QBs. They've shown they can effectively use playmakers (not all QBs can, so that's something). But I don't think either will really carry their team to a win, and I wouldn't break the bank of a huge contract for either.

    I've never even heard of Brandon Allen. Apparently he started 5 games for the Bengals during the COVID season.

    I believe the soonest they are allowed to schedule one on a Friday or a Saturday is the 3rd week of December.

    The law that allows the NFL to operate as a legal monopoly prohibits the league from scheduling games on Friday or Saturday during the college football season.

    If he is going to the Cowboys they probably have a handshake agreement to sign him after he clears waivers Monday. Nobody is going to claim him.

    I’d take him as backup next year, he’s better than Mitch. He could start for the Cowboys the rest of the season. It’s possible he could start for the Raiders too. I wonder if he signs somewhere right away.

    If we meet them again in the playoffs I think the Chiefs try a much more run-heavy strategy. Bills will have to show that they can stop it.

    I would say hanging an effigy of an opposing QB in a noose (which is what the comment I was responding to said was done in the past) is kind of heinous. Maybe you disagree, but that’s my 2 cents.

    Well, the comment I was responding to said we used to hang QBs from nooses, so what’s the big deal. That’s a terrible argument. Just because we used to do things doesn’t mean they were good or we still should do them.

    Pickens pushes off with a full extension and then begs for PI, lol. I almost think that play was designed to just draw PI and not be completed.

    I’m pretty sure the Steelers are going to drop a couple more the rest of the way. I’m just not buying it.
