Idk, the Cardinals game was a pretty similar situation. Josh Allen drives the length of the field to score the go ahead TD, and then the defense pukes all over itself.

One issue I noticed all year, is Wallace is an unwilling tackler. Multiple times he gets washed out of the play being blocked by a WR, or taking a terrible angle (on purpose?) when a running or screen play comes to his side of the field. I haven’t noticed the same thing with Tre, Dane Jackson, or Johnson.

On the original topic of the thread (and not the weird turn it has taken), I wouldn't be surprised if Daboll was a little bit fed up here. It's clear that he wasn't on the same page as McDermott during the regular season. He even got publicly called out during a post game press conference about the lack of balance in the play calling, and our inability to run the ball. I also don't think it is that concerning or unusual...ego-driven people at the top of their fields butt heads. Especially considering Daboll really wanted a HC job, his incentives may not have been perfectly aligned with that of McDermott.

I think people are absolutely saying it is an indictment on the GM and coaching staff. The defense was weaker than tissue paper the past 2 playoff matchups vs KC. Allen didn't have anything to do with their poor performance.

I voted DL, because a pass rush that gets sacks is something our defense is really missing. - Hughes and Addison will probably be gone. - Levi Wallace is going to get overpaid, so we probably move on. - Morse may retire. - Tre White may not be back until into the season. - Star is probably not coming back. - Sanders and McKenzie aren’t coming back (probably cut Cole loose too imo). - Something has to be done at guard. Neither Ford or Feliciano should be slotted as starters. We need DL, IOL, and CB. We are going to have a lot of starters to replace, Beane is going to have to earn his paycheck for sure.
