  1. I think Singletary and McKissic split reps with Singletary doing most of the running between the tackles. Considering Moss was a healthy scratch at times last year, he should be sweating. I could see the Bills bringing in a late round RB to compete with him and he could lose his job. Probably a burner/KR/PR.
  2. 2 starter quality guards, a depth CB that won’t lose games for us until Tre returns. A veteran pass rusher that is ring chasing. Then draft BPA and not based on need.
  3. Either he wouldn’t take a pay cut, or the new o-line coach doesn’t like him.
  4. Because it isn't the end of the story. He will settle civil suits. And the bar of evidence for a criminal indictment vs the court of public opinion (who buy NFL tickets) is a lot higher.
  5. The only way it would make sense is if Hyde wanted to be released and requested it (and the Bills did him a solid by not trading him instead). Or if there were some personal issues that nobody has heard about. I really doubt it.
  6. Setting the edge is also about keeping the QB in the pocket. I still have nightmares about Addison and Hughes running right past Mahomes while he runs outside and gains 15 yards. I’m sure they got credited with a “QB Pressure” though…
  7. He had a pretty bad year, I’m sure he’ll land on his feet. I’m curious about Williams…he too had a pretty bad year and got shuffled around a lot (and lost his starting RT job to a raw rookie). My guess is they offer him a pay cut with the understanding that he is a guard now and he takes it.
  8. Not to mention McGahee was pretty good. Him hating Buffalo didn’t have anything to do with his knees.
  9. Must have been Addison I was thinking of then 😉
  10. Hopefully he can be in on 1st/2nd down and set the edge. I feel like we really lacked that this past year.
  11. This helps the Bills by increasing their chances for #1 seed. It doesn’t really matter that another good QB was added to the AFC, because there are already enough good QBs in the AFC that we’ll have to face them in the playoffs anyway.
  12. Two things I hope for: - Some plays that are set up for run after the catch. Crosses, screens, whatever can make Allen’s life a little easier. Less hero ball will mean fewer turnovers and fewer hits on Allen. - Ability to run consistently, especially when we really need to. For example in the red zone, or when we’re trying to have a long, time consuming drive to clinch a game. Singletary looked a lot better the final third of the season, so maybe they have that figured out. I’m not sure Daboll even had a screen pass in his playbook.
  13. If this is true it is probably the Bills low balling him, and telling him to see if he can beat it in FA. Purse strings seem tight this offseason (for example Beasley being allowed to seek a trade, probably asked to take a pay cut), maybe saving cap space for a big splash signing?
  14. It isn’t just about ability, it’s also about cost. If there was no cap I would agree with you.
  15. Does anybody know why Williams seems to have forgotten how to play RT over the past offseason? He was very good in pass pro the prior season, what happened? He got paid, and then stopped trying or what?
  16. To be fair inflation was 7.5% this past year, so that might account for some of it. But at the same time, we know businesses just charge what they think people will pay and not necessarily depending on what their costs are.
  17. I don’t think it starts until it is caught/touched even on a squib. The receiving team can also flop on it and immediately give themselves up, which probably burns like 2 seconds. The winning play is squib it deep, but not into the end zone which would force a return. Or one of those pop up kicks just short of the end zone (which could burn clock and stop them deep on their side of the field with good coverage).
  18. He doesn’t even believe this. It is the television version of click bait.
  19. OL was bad 3/4 of last season. Couldn’t run block, and several games where Allen was running for his life. Glad the front office sees what we see, and coaching has already been addressed. Round 1 - CB/G/C Round 2 - CB/G/C If Morse is coming back, forget about C. Sign a FA pass rusher.
  20. Terrell Owens almost always delivered. He had an as good or better game than Kupp just had on a broken leg in the SB. Strange example to choose.
  21. He's only 6 months younger than Allen I'm pretty sure. He was an old draft pick. I'm not sure why...I know he transferred schools, maybe that had something to do with it.
  22. I don't think the Bengals will be back to the SB anytime soon. If they were going to win it, this was probably the year for them. Everything fell their way. They could realistically miss the playoffs next year depending on how the rest of the AFC North looks next year (probably a lot better than this year, with Steelers QB being the unknown).
  23. I bet Burrow has a legit leg injury. They ran the ball or had quick/immediate throws the last 2 drives.
  24. Donald made that tackle with one arm reaching around the guard.
