Thanksgiving Day football, no Bills talk
UKBillFan replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sky in the UK are revelling in showing the Bears meltdown during breaks in play. -

Wonder if that's where Ben Johnson may end up? -

But why didn't Eberflus step in? He could have at least called the remaining time out. -

Losing teams know how to lose. Why didn't they spike the ball or call the timeout? -

Though if Williams hadn't flicked the ball in the Bears players face, the Lions offense would have been rolling. Bad calls, stupid decision making. -

Playing down to the opposition. Will be interested to see if they can flip a switch if the Bears get a TD here. -
No. Their remaining schedule is: Home to Raiders Home to Chargers at Browns Home to Texans at Steelers at Broncos In that order.

Week 13 - 49ers at Bills Game Week Thread
UKBillFan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
My concern is that Shanahan decides to shares the RB load between McCaffrey, Mason and Guerendo. The Bills run defense is hardly elite. -
The article says CBS could protect the game. I imagine they have time to do so, and will do so before the deadline.

Isn't the argument being made that they can afford to have all these players on offense because Purdy is on a rookie contract, and is doing enough to at least keep them in post season contention?
-
Both the Niners and Purdy have a big decision coming up. If I was Purdy I'd take whatever they offer him. They're making him more than the other way round though, in his defence, he is making something of the system, which not all QBs can do.

Giants are releasing QB Daniel Jones (future backup to Josh Allen)
UKBillFan replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd start Levis over Jones at this stage. Younger and more room to develop. At least allow him to see out the season as most of his errors are the boneheaded kind which, with the right coaching, could be ironed out. -
I imagine FOX will look to protect Bills-Rams. Looking at the schedule, cannot see which other game they'd value over that.

Terrance Gray a candidate for Jets GM job?

One word - Beane. -
turns out America likes watching Allen-Mahomes games
UKBillFan replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, Mahomes is playing a part, as much as it pains me to say it. The three highest regular season games so far this year all involve him rather than Josh (Chiefs against Bengals, Ravens and Bills). -
I suppose they feel they know what they're going to get from Lock. DeVito is a desperate reach to see if there is a NFL QB within him which they can work with.

Thank you and apologies. I should have looked it up before believing Sky TV over here. Unless I misheard but I’m not sure what else they could have said. -
Week 11, Chefs v. Bills, GAME BALLS!
UKBillFan replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh - but the ball is going to go ‘bang’ intermittently so he can go through the stresses he put us through tonight. But that touchdown… Shakir Samuel Bernard Lewis Rapp -

Just done quick maths, and this may have already been said, but I think I’m right in saying the Bills are only two wins from taking the East. The Fish, at best, can ‘only’ get to 11-6 and the Bills have the tiebreaker. I think we would have all taken that at the start of the year. -

He's not been great for the most part. That play was astounding. Both can be true. -
