  1. Fact - Trevon slammed the franchise and Josh on Twitter. Fact - Stefon has done nothing to defend either, even though he showed his ability for doing so before.
  2. Diggs' will to win is great. But for him to clearly moan at his brother (understandable and fair enough) without either appreciating it may get into the public domain or wanting it to with no rebuttal is concerning. The off season was surrounded by rumours about his relationship with Josh which he did not sufficiently address so of course it's going to rumble on, aided and abetted by his brother, so of course there's going to be questions asked. On the field, is Josh the biggest issue? Definitely. Is Diggs doing all he can off the field to keep things smooth as possible? IMO no.
  3. Well coaching is the main culprit. If it's a one off, or one a season issue, then fine - blame the players. But the coaches have been shown up of being unable to prepare or focus the players for a game over and over - especially on offense. When was the last time everything clicked from the first drive? Dolphins perhaps aside. It feels like this has been an issue going back to the Packers last year. When something keeps happening it goes beyond the players.
  4. I personally think, in terms of Josh's attitude, that he is someone who only feels comfortable rallying at others if he himself is having a great game. If he is making errors then he doesn't feel in a position to moan at the OC, or shout at his WRs, or have a go at his OL, as he sees it as hypocritical. And if he's having a good game it usually means the units have shown up, so he has no reason to shout at them.
  5. That doesn't explain why everyone else was off. Unless they all met this barmaid and didn't know who was the father.
  6. Then Dorsey either could not or did not want to control Josh. And, with the cap set how it is etc., then there's only going to be one fall guy at this stage.
  7. Isn't it up to the OC to help the QB improve his game?
  8. I did wonder if they may have one eye on Daboll should he be sacked by the Giants.
  9. I don't want him to be the HC of the 2023 Bills. The buck stops at the top.
  10. Josh was not the problem. He is part of the problem this year.
  11. I think the point trying to be made (could be wrong) is the offense looked, more often that not, zen and in control on the field, even oif Daboll was going mad off it. Not sure if I fully agree with that, though. There were some miserable performances from the offense under Daboll though, in fairness, they never went on an extended run of inepitude like this.
  12. Apologies, thought you were talking overall. But those defeats will likely mean the Bills don't make the play offs this time around.
  13. If I remember correctly: 11 INTs (1st in NFL) 13 Turnovers (1st in NFL)
  14. OK, so stick to the run game. Don't throw the ball when the QB and receivers are so out of sync and the Broncos couldn't stop the run. So what did they do? Return to the pass game.
  15. This year alone the Bills have lost to the Rodgers-less Jets, the Jags, the Pats and the Broncos. They haven't lost to a team that's worse than them in terms of personnel? Really?
  16. I wouldn't say wildly successful. No Super Bowl appearances due to awful coaching and folding at the clutch times. Tell me if you've heard this before, or seen this continuously under McDermott.
  17. Yeah, right, as if Brady will be able to make calls without deferring to McDermott. Expect slow tempo and drawn out drives to continue (providing the players don't fumble, drop or throw interceptions) to eat up TOP.
  18. Could go two ways - it could light a fire in a Josh and, helped by better play calling by Brady, the offense gets back on track. Or it could get in his head more that he helped get his OC fired, and he becomes even more hesitant and uncertain. With this move, they still don't have someone in the QB room who is able to get Josh out of slumps. Brady clearly isn't the guy, otherwise we would have seen improvements already.
  19. The Bills were in a position to beat the Broncos and the Pats; they were leading heading into the final drive. They almost threw away the Giants and Bucs game as well. Even now, I'm not too fussed about the Bengals loss - I had that pegged as a defeat when the scheduled came out. I thought at the time jetlag played a part with the Jags defeat but it seems it was an indication of deeper malaise, which is weird considering how phenomenal they were against the Dolphins.
  20. Here's a question - would Dorsey have been sacked if the Bills had won yesterday? If McDermott hadn't called a time out and still overseen 12 men on the field? Or even his coached defense allowing the Broncos within FG range to start with?
  21. No, he'll fire Brady then. Anything to absolve himself of responsibility.
  22. Utterly no point in sacking Dorsey unless McDermott follows him.
  23. Considering the amount spent on defense, I'd hope at the very least that it can still perform even with injuries. Unfortunately time and again they miss it up at the death.
  24. I think it was the case of one thing after another, and not just with Josh but across the franchise.
