  1. Well they've made up for the missed two points earlier, when they could have taken the point. Brought them back to par.
  2. Daniels is certainly coming out of this game with his reputation intact... or enhanced.
  3. Why go for two there??? What's the difference between a nine and ten point lead at this stage?
  4. Brown and Lattimore just decided to have a fight away from play.
  5. The Eagles now calling for a flag after the hold on the 4th Down...
  6. Their kicker's been decent so far tonight.
  7. The Commanders tackling is leaving a lot to be desired.
  8. I was thinking they may as well risk a fake. Didn't expect them to but I suppose that's the point.
  9. There goes Barkley. Not sure how happy the Eagles D will be!
  10. Yeah, didn't quite understand that after taking a gamble further down the field.
  11. I mean more the timings. Maybe expect them to give a four hour gap between each kick off, or something, in case the first game is delayed. Have to admit, I can't remember previous timings. I'd checked out of last year by this point!
  12. They got it, but I thought it was stupidly risky.
  13. That was a great catch and recovery on 3rd Down - could have easily been a stop there.
  14. Is this is Brady's last game in the broadcast booth, unless he relinquishes his role with the Raiders?
  15. It strikes me as a bit daft that Bills-Chiefs is at 6.30pm Eastern when the NFC game isn't starting until 3pm. There's not much room for manouver if the former goes to OT. I guess Bills-Chiefs could get pushed back in that scenario?
  16. Could it be as simple as some people who don't follow the NFL closely have put money on based on the Bills beating the Ravens last week, not understanding the vote closed before the play offs began?
  17. During the week I watch games back, not just the Bills, and, for me, Taylor's lucky not to be most penalized and the Chiefs fortunate not to be top of both holding lists. It seems to be every play - as though they know the refs cannot call it every time as it will kill the game, so just take their chance. Additionally, it doesn't answer the question of when these penalties are given. The opposition appear to get penalties in key situations in close games. Then tick tack make up penalties against the Chiefs once the game is gone to look 'fair'. Is that right? Maybe, maybe not. Perhaps if they weren't in for a three-peat the finger wouldn't be pointed. If the Bills win the next two Super Bowls (please please please) the focus would probably turn on them.
  18. It's stats against the eye test. Chiefs seem to be given penalties where it affects them less, and the opposition given them when it has greater affect, at key times in the game. Plus, as said, opponents get pulled up on something which the Chiefs have been getting away with for most of the game - the best examples being holding, PI and false starts.
  19. This is my biggest concern as well. That and it feels like Jawaan Taylor NEVER gets called for a false start even though he practically tap dances at the line. So Mahomes goes down easily at times; most QBs do. Exhibit A: Allen, Josh.
  20. My biggest dread - it's a tie at the end of the fourth. In overtime the Bills win the toss, take the ball, and score a TD. The Chiefs reply in kind. On the next possession, the Bills fail to score any points, with the Chiefs taking it down the field for a FG. Using the regulation season rules for overtime, the Bills would win. Instead... And it's been changed because of what happened to the Bills before. Positivity? The Bills can do this. They match up better with the Chiefs than they do the Ravens, and victory was theirs. Protect the ball, be original on offense, maybe having to lean on Josh more than they have recently, and stout in defense. Let's go!
  21. Cue the Bills putting up no more than 14 tomorrow, with Josh neutured, and subsequent criticism of Brady as a consequence.
  22. If they're current odds, the Divisional round is going to have an impact. I'd argue, if any odds should be looked it, it's those around the time the vote closed.
