  1. How bad must a defense be to allow Rodgers to get a first down on a five yard run?
  2. TD Titans. This could be a shootout. Great TD though, he was literally carried over the line.
  3. It's a Christmas miracle. A flag AGAINST the Chiefs O. TD Ravens.
  4. My issue is the Bills problems have existed for a while. Slow starts. Bad run D. Bizarre play-calling at the end of tight games. Last week was not an anomaly - though we can throw in a struggling pass D as well, which is relatively new. Tonight isn't really about the seeding position, it's about confidence. Lose tonight, particularly heavily, and there will be more questions about the Bills post season chances.
  5. And TD Jets - not that that one really matters.
  6. TD Bengals. Like a knife through butter.
  7. What the heck was that from Mac Jones? Run around in a random direction for an age, then take a sack. So lucky there was a flag against Gardner for a hold (shock horror). Now TD Jags.
  8. Burrow thrown an INT against the Titans. A very bad throw.
  9. Jackson's just fumbled the ball against the Giants.
  10. How to build up a game. "Jets at Jags... two teams with a J in their names." Thanks, Scott.
  11. Naturally. They're playing the Chiefs.
  12. The restraining order doesn't count?
  13. Both decisions seem farcical to me. How can Chase and Darnold be given it over Josh and Stafford/Nacua?
  14. I'd argue better for the likes of Milano and Carter to get reps against NFC teams once the Bills have clinched the division, rather than hold them back until later in the season and have them rusty in the post season. And if they're still struggling week 18, they can get pulled for the divisional round. I understand the #1 seed would be nice but the important thing is just being there. And I say this as someone who fears McDermott will not get the Bills over the hump. I wouldn't blame him for this one.
  15. I’d love to see McVay coach a Josh-run offense. But in Buffalo, not LA. I appreciate that’s a pipe dream.
  16. Stafford and Nacua have probably not had, and will not have, an easier game in their whole careers. Defensive play calling and execution was shown up for what it was, and it happens all too often against good offenses.
  17. For AFC Offensive Player of the Week, yes, but think the OP was talking about MVP. Burrow won’t get it due to the Bengals record. Him and Josh will be understanding how each other feels at the moment.
  18. As others said, yesterday's defense was very similar to what we saw under Fraiser, which begs the question why it cropped up again under a different DC. Also, I would hope that McDermott, as a defensive head coach, would step in and make adjustments if Babich seemed unable to, which he seemingly was yesterday. Either he decided to let Babich continue with the same approach, or he tried to intervene without making any discernable changes. Either is concerning.
  19. That's true but defense had continuous issues throughout the game without adjustment on or off the field. Specials Team had an error by Ferguson (and maybe Martin was a touch on a slow side). The usual approach is a poor series at the start of the game and then they tighten up but yesterday was just the same thing over and over again. It's not like we haven't seen it before - even this series, it happened in Baltimore but was dismissed because of injuries coupled with the offense also having issues. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. He isn't perfect but Brady seems to have realised different games need different approaches, such as abandoning the run game yesterday. McDermott, Babich, Smiley? I'm not so sure.
  20. I forgot to check the Inactives list before the start of the game. Last time I did that... Houston.
  21. Are we trying to say that if the punt hadn't been blocked, then the defense would have magically found a solution and stopped Stafford on that drive? I mean, anything is possible, but I think too much is being made of one incident where, in all likelihood, the Rams would have just drove down the field and got a touchdown anyway. It was irritating to say the least, but the defense gifted them five times the number of points Special Teams did, and didn't even manage one turnover to help the offense.
