  1. There's a reason why the saying is offenses win games whilst defenses win championships. Whilst the defense continues to suck, the Bills will not get a ring.
  2. I guess the question would be... who do you replace him with?
  3. The different was on defense. The Bills defense let the Chiefs score over 30 for the first time this season. Ignoring the week 18 rollover, the Chiefs defense has only let one team score 30+. The Bills in week 11.
  4. It's as though people just thought the Bills could show up and put 40+ on the Chiefs. Offenses win games, defenses win championships. Considering who they were up against, the offense did fine overall. Did they have a few miscues? Yes. So did the Chiefs. But 29 should be enough to win a game. Especially against a team that hadn't scored over 30 all season. I do have an issue with how hard the Bills have to work for points compared to other top teams, and it feels like it's down to Josh and Cook to get them over the line again and again. That has to change next year. There's too much expectation on too few people. Again.
  5. It was down to Josh that the Bills got to 29. But if you truly believe he's not ready for this then there's only one solution - trade him. Blow it all up and start again. Because if he's not ready now he never will be.
  6. I'm struggling with too much blame on the defense edit: offense. Other than when they laid down and had their tummies tickled by the Broncos in week 18, the Chiefs only gave up more than 27 twice all season. Both against the Bills. They've only scored more than 30 once all season. Tonight.
  7. They lost by three on the road at the Super Bowl Champions. Come on, I'm hurting, but try some perspective. And as for the bull you're pulling on Josh - that was probably his worst game against the Chiefs in the play offs. He's normally in superman mode. Have to wonder what happened today, but to say he isn't ready for this? Again, try some perspective.
  8. I agree with you, but the offense left points out there. Some of the play calling was dreadful, whetehr that was Brady or Josh changing it at the line. 29 is based on Josh being a miracle worker even when he's not at his best.
  9. Yeah, I see your problem here. You're being logical. Not really the time or the place!
  10. Ah ok - true. The O Line and Kincaid between them on that final play.
  11. Oh one turnover. Hang out the bunting and give everyone extra long contracts. That was the first time the Chiefs have managed to score over 30 on any team this year. Eighteen games, they couldn't do it. McDermott's play off defense come on down...
  12. And Josh may have done if he didn't have the pass rush on him as soon as the ball was snapped. The protection was pathetic so he had no time to think. What he did do was astounding on that play.
  13. Yes, I blame - or at least partially blame - Josh for some of the earlier throws but that one... he had no time whatsoever. Pass protection just fell apart and he couldn't think. What he did do was miraculous and if Kincaid had come up with it, like any decent NFL reciever, then we'd be wacing lyrical about it.
  14. That's the first time the Chiefs have scored over 30 all season.
  15. Yeah, the defense mesing the bed in a good game is unsurprising. What the heck happened to the O Line? Josh wasn't allowed to have his best game; he didn't have much in way of protection.
  16. Are you actually serious? It hit him in the hands.
  17. It's not just one thing. The Bills were screwed by the refs and by themselves. Kincaid dropped two, possibly not simple, but not impossible catches that NFL players should make. I'd even aportion some blame on Samuel, though that was a Jackson-Andrews situation from last week, where the throw should have also been better. And then the defense... I'm not giving them a pass just because they managed a couple of stops. Well done, that's what defenses should do. Mahomes rolled to the right all night. Josh rolls to the left on tush pushes - the Chiefs noticed this and stopped it. Too much to ask for a change in game plan?
  18. Letting the Chiefs score 32. They had one turnover and about two good drives. Otherwise they were a mess. The Chiefs hadn't score 30 on anyone all season... until tonight. The Texans kept them to 23 FFS.
  19. Beane doesn't draft without consulting McDermott. These players are here because McD asked for them. Actually, didn't Josh ask for Coleman?
  20. The Bills put up 29. How many points do you want to bail out this defense???
  21. Please, touchdown, offense, let's get a touchdown...
