  1. To be pedantic, he was trying to make it in New Jersey.
  2. But is he worth it? Will the Bills be better off using that money on other areas of the team. Even if the Bills and Cook come to an agreement at, say, $12m, that $3m could help get someone else over the line.
  3. It's true, a team may well decide to pay him 15m. But, if so, it shouldn't be the Bills.
  4. If Simon banned everyone who's referred to the Bills on this thread there would barely be anyone left on the forum.
  5. Hard to imagine it being worse.
  6. This is really bittersweet.
  7. All things being equal...
  8. Mahomes passer rating at the half... 10.7.
  9. Where were these calls a couple of weeks ago?
  10. To give it back to them?
  11. The Eagles defense is forcing them to be this bad.
  12. Why have they CGI'd them into an empty New Orleans sidestreet?
  13. Offenses win games. Defenses win championships.
  14. Only plus side is field position. It was as good as a punt.
  15. Sure I've seen that before and it wasn't called. Not such an easy game when things are picked up on.
  16. 3rd and nine. Cue flag if this fails.
  17. And there's the first flag against the Eagles. Let's get used to it.
  18. It's taking a bit of getting used to for me.
  19. Is it permanent or just for the Super Bowl?
  20. The way so much the NFL seems to be "massaged" I wouldn't be completely surprised if the MVP vote was steered based on the outcome of the Ravens-Bills play off game. "If the Ravens win give my five points to Lamar, if the Bills win then give them to Josh." The wait is ludicrous. There doesn't seem to be a reason why the MVP can't be revealed before the wildcard round.
  21. I think the argument that Lamar put his team in a hole in a valid one. It's a credit that he regrouped and brought in back but he choked in the first half more than any other QB into he play offs this year other than Jared Goff. And it cost the Ravens. The Chiefs and Ravens are the strongest defenses in the NFL, with great DCs. I think any QB would find it tough to walk the field against the clock. As for the Bills... we've seen historically it's not so difficult.
  22. Because you have mentioned more than once the failure to score on the final drive last week, and Josh needing to take responsibility for it. I get it. I also think he would manage it if he was facing the Bills defense rather than the Chiefs'.
