  1. Yes. And another good thing about them is they've been kept out of the hands of the NRA terrorists.
  2. Leave millions of people without financial advisors... what could possibly go wrong?
  3. Obviously you said it all for us all. Obviously.
  4. From your lips to Gosh's ears. Paves the way for Goobell to ring in the new year of draconian punishments. Doesn't it? I think a lifetime ban is in order and possible a public shaming I the stocks at the Librrty Bell. Maybe just two or three weeks in the stocks, but definitely some lashes. Nothing raises the Public's spirit like a public flogging!
  5. That should be pro forma. Keep yer yap shut.
  6. NC eliminated Syracuse from the NCAA - right? So obviously we should nuke the entire state. #ORANGELIVESMATTER
  7. Nope. Definitely not bacterial. It's a virus. Wicked, nasty strain too.
  8. Exactly. You said it right. The world isn't American. There are lots of different cultures and beliefs "out there". And that's a large part of our USA-centric thinking and belief system. Works well here. Well, it has for a long time, but in some other places... not so much.
  9. None of the advocates of AGCC have any road map to effect a reversal except "carbon credits". They're unwilling to give up most aspects of modernity or even cut back on any of it's luxuries. People like Barbara Streisand and AlGore think they're contributing positively to the solution when they come up with things like this: they tell their live-in servants to turn off the air conditioning whenever the owners are not staying in their home. Of course they each have multiple homes, but the servants can't have the AC on unless the master is at home.
  10. No. You sound like an azz with that. Their culture is different. Deal with it. Tipping in most of Europe is frowned upon. Just look at the friggin' check. They get paid a lot.
  11. What if Bing Crosby was dreaming of a green Christmas?
  12. No worries. Threads get rolling fast sometimes. and over-drafted. not his fault. Well, another way to look at it is this. Two in that class of 2006 made it to the ProBowl as rookies - Marcus McNeil and Vince Young - both of whom went to two ProBowls Eight from that class made it to the ProBowl after their first year - Devin Hester (3-time PB), DeMeco Ryans (2 time PB), Antonio Cromartie (4 timer), Derek Anderson, Joseph Addai, Antoine Bethea (3 timer), and Marcus McNeill (2 timer). 15 made it after two years in the League: Vince Young, Maurice Jones-Drew, DeAngelo Williams, Brandon Marshall, Miles Austin, Vernon Davis, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Jahri Evans, Nick Mangold, Mario Williams, Haloti Ngata, Elvis Dumervill, DeMeco Ryans, Roman Harper, and Antoine Bethea. 13 made it the following year (2010): Maurice Jones-Drew, Miles Austin, Greg Jennings, Marcedes Lewis, Tyson Clabo, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Jahri Evans, Nick Mangold, Haloti Ngata, Kyle Williams, Roman Harper, Devin Hester, and Montell Owens. In 2011, fourteen from that class made it to the Pro Bowl: Maurice Jones-Drew, John Kuhn, Michael Robinson, Greg Jennings, Brandon Marshall, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Jahri Evans, Davin Joseph, Nick Mangold, Elvis Dumervil, Haloti Ngata, Tamba Hali, Johnathan Joseph, and Montell Owens. 2012 saw another fourteen from the 2006 Draft Class go to the Pro Bowl - Six years after they were drafted, including (finally) said same Donte Whitner. Brandon Marshall, Owen Daniels, Andrew Whitworth, Jahri Evans, Richie Incognito, Elvis Dumervil, Haloti Ngata, Kyle Williams, Tamba Hali, Tim Jennings, Antonio Cromartie, Johnathan Joseph, Donte Whitner, and Leon Washington. 2013's Pro Bowl selections included 14 from that Draft Class as well: Brandon Marshall, Vernon Davis, Jahri Evans, Nick Mangold (tired of hearing his name called yet?), Mario Williams, Jason Hatcher, Haloti Ngata, Kyle Williams, Ahmad Brooks, Tamba Hali, Antonio Cromartie, Tim Jennings, Donte Whitner, and Stephen Gostkowski. 2014 saw only 13 from the 2006 class go to the Pro Bowl: John Kuhn, Devin Hester, Jahri Evans and Nick Mangold (again), Mario Williams, Kyle Williams, Elvis Dumervil, Tamba Hali, D'Qwell Jackson, Antonio Cromartie, Antoine, Bethea, Donte Whitner, and Stephen Gostkowski. Last year's Pro Bowl had 9 from the class play in the Bowl: John Kuhn, Brandon Marshall, Delanie Walker, Richie Incognito, Nick Mangold (yes, him again), Andrew Whitworth, Tamba Hali, Stephen Gostkowski, and Sam Koch. Most of the best players and repeat Pro Bowl players made it to their first dance by their second or third year. By the time Donte's name shows up on the roster most of the repeaters have already played in multiple PBs. So he was a late bloomer so to speak. Not a bust, but definitely over drafted by this franchise.
  13. Bill Clinton does too. But that's not going to derail her campaign.
  14. Quite disappointing, misleading thread title. Clicked the link thinking it would be about a new line from these guys:
  15. Other than Whitner? There are 30 from that Draft who have made more than one Pro Bowl. Andrew Whitworth 2 Antoine Bethea 3 Antonio Cromartie 4 Brandon Marshall 6 D'Brickashaw Ferguson 3 Davin Joseph 2 DeMeco Ryans 2 Devin Hester 3 Donte Whitner 3 Elvis Dumervil 4 Greg Jennings 2 Haloti Ngata 5 Jahri Evans 6 John Kuhn 3 Jonathan Joseph 2 Kyle Williams 4 Leon Washington 2 Marcus McNeill 2 Mario Williams 4 Maurice Jones-Drew 3 Miles Austin 2 Montell Owens 2 Nick Mangold 7 Owen Daniels 2 Richie Incognito 2 Roman Harper 2 Stephen Gostkowski 4 Tamba Hali 5 Tim Jennings 2 Vernon Davis 2 Vince Young 2
  16. with wine. Side note. My son had to go to McDonalds in Munich because he wanted to get a Big Mac with a beer. Oh, and Spun - you can skip the Monet tour that goes out from Paris. We did it and were a bit disappointed. There are no original Monet paintings there. They're all in museums or private collections around the globe. They have reproductions hanging up. The only "original" artwork on display are his collection of Japanese prints. Even the bridge over the lily ponds isn't original. They replaced it a couple of years before we went there. But if I were going to Normandy, I'd go to Point Du Hoc. I regret not making it there.
  17. Do some of the obvious tourist spots: The Eiffel Tower, Montmarte (Sacré Coeur and Moulin Rouge are there), Napoleon's Tomb - in the Hotel National des Invalides, Rodin's house, The Louvre. You'll be fairly close to the Arc de Triomphe which commemorates Napoleon's battles. The Avenue des Champs-Elysées is beautiful and impressive to walk down and extremely wide. So plan carefully if you are walking across it. Plan ahead. Get an underground day pass, and plan to do a lot of walking and stair climbing. Their subway is like none other. You walk a lot from the entrances to the platforms and often up and down dozens and dozens of stairs. There's lots to do in Paris. It's a gorgeous city. Take a boat tour on the Seine. Eat well, drink well. It's not difficult to do in that city. Good luck and bon voyage!
  18. I thought of a better angle on Hector & Mike. Mike might be casing the diner for a hit. But he takes out Nacho instead of Hector. Maybe Hector gets put into the wheelchair by Nacho. Mike respects and fears what Hector will do to his family, and Nacho is certainly the easier one to take out - permanently. Maybe in gratitude for him taking out Nacho, Hector gets Mike a job with Gus. I'm done speculatin'. edit: 'cept I'm not. Don't think Mike would double cross a partner. It's not in his character. But he has made deals with both Nacho and Hector.
  19. I have lots of favorites. Sunset Boulevard The Ruling Class The Magic Christian La Grande Bouffe The Deer Hunter
