  1. I was the biggest believer in Marrone coming in. Being a Syracuse fan, I honestly thought he would be our long term coach and lead us to success. I still am shaking my head over the seemingly Dr. Jeckyl & Mr. Hyde performance he turned into, never saw an inkling of the that behavior/attitude at Syracuse.
  2. Did you ever see a pitcher have trouble tossing the ball to 1st base on a comeback hit, yet paint the corner while throwing 90-100 mph to get the final out to win the world series?
  3. honestly, i have stayed out of this thread since it started because I don't watch these movies but I JUST came in to post the exact same thing you posted....everytime i looked at the title i thought it said 'boobs'
  4. Or you simply casually follow current events, watch/read the news, turn on the Google machine.
  5. Yeah, i have gone through all the paperwork submission, 3 weeks in i get a letter from the department of state telling me the photo i submitted isn't gonna work so i just need to send a new photo, but i don't feel i need to pay for it again, not that the $13 is gonna break me, just out of principle.
  6. so they rejected my photo because there was a glare coming off my glasses and told me to get another taken without glasses. I am going back to the original purchase place with my receipt and see if they will do it for free...they advertise passport photos, they should know how to correctly take the pictures. what a pain in the ass
  7. Yup, or vivid, that's how we got our Dead Chicago tix, made sure that Vivid was a "guaranteed" site.
  8. Him I like, and I hate the Raiders, he is committed to that role and I appreciate that in a fan
  9. bitches...ground up and in the freezer, with each freezer baggie accurately labeled and charted.
  10. i kinda find them annoying, but that said as a syracuse fan, I do miss the Dome Ranger and Dome Eddie, more for nostalgic reasons....
  11. collectible spoons....the only way to go
  12. I was at Elvis Costello/Steely Dan show Monday with a buddy. Both of us are 52. He actually asked if I wanted to take a dual selfie. I laughed and said "Hell No". I was floored.
  13. Yeah, I was the exact opposite of phony. I asked for advice on wine and even asked the difference between medium and medium rare, I got confused when he said medium was red in the middle. It didn't dawn on me that medium rare was pink....I was a total amateur and didn't hide it
  14. did you drop the J from your screen name???
  15. I must be missing something...transfer fee is around 3%, that would be $39 in fees...like i said, no financial guru here, quite the opposite..good luck, i hope you decide on a good plan. i do get the feeling you are messing with us big time though...you keep mentioning jokes, but what you are calling a joke seems more like an m. night shyamalan movie plot
  16. i've read through the entire thread and got more confused as time passed, and up front, i don't use credit cards, that said.....what is the credit limit on the lower interest card? did anyone suggest paying the higher card ($1300) using the lower card?
  17. still gives me chills when i see that...
  18. but without those two atomic bombs we never would have found out how useful school desks were in protecting ourselves from attacks, so out of tragedy comes some good.... ...too soon?
  19. Morton's has a similar deal through mid september, $40 for 3 courses...the meat was a small filet, but the sides they gave were definitely enough to share with 3 others. and the dessert was the same serving size, i think. I didn't go that route.
  20. Not sure that show could handle a Eustace AND a Cletus
  21. I told them next time they are in town, my treat at the flying pig in malvern.
  22. like i said, i ordered the bone-in(cowboy/tomahawk) ribeye, but got the center boneless cut, I was being treated so I didn't say anything, but the other guest did notice and asked quietly if I was ok with it to which i responded that it tasted awesome and was VERY happy with it. then the waiter disappeared before our dessert and it took forever. the hosts definitely took note and even commented when he finally came by that we 'can't be here all night'. They considered taking the dessert to go, but when it came and they dug into the key lime pie, they couldn't bring themselves from eating it then and there. I waffled between the creme brulee and the NY Cheesecake., opted for the cheesecake and when it came with a hardened carameled sugar coating on the top, i figured I got the best of both worlds of brulee and cheesecake. it was outstanding. the only issue was the speed of service, the waiter was incredibly personable and helpful in explaining how and what to order....
  23. I believe the children are our future
