You summed it up. Poor special teams and too many penalties. Add to that very inconsistent officiating. Young team, rookie QB, and this kind of stuff happens.

Depends on who is winning and what star players they have. Right now the boring teams are: Cleveland (uniforms alone are boring), Titans, colts, cardinals, Texans, Lions

The tax issue is a non issue for football players. For family oriented players Buffalo is a fine place to bring your family. Three things hold Buffalo back in the free agent 1. Losing teams and culture of constant rebuild. 2. Cold weather 3. Not a lot of glitz and nightlife. Fix number 1 and most of your problems are gone There are many players from cold climates and small towns so just build a winner that is run with class and dedicated to winning. Player that are enamored by hype and nightlife are not usually the best to have anyway.

OBJ is a no. Green is on the wrong side of 30. Invest in the O- line. Keep Allen upright and safely in the pocket. Let him fire. There are lots of good receivers that could do damage given a strong armed QB with time to throw. It would be great to get a real TE threat and young RB that can catch and run.

We can shore up the #2 CB with a lot less money. I say put some dollars into a #1 WR, the OL, and TE. Give our young QB some support.

I think they will likely finish 7-9 and draft somewhere in the 12 to 15 slot. Considering how bad this season started that would be a good record if it's Allen that starts all the games and finishes 4-2 after the bye week. off season we bring in some help at G, OT, WR, TE, RB, CB, LB, DE -- we have the draft and a lot of cap space to upgrade the roster.

I think they would have for the right price. Apparently they could not get that price.

He is a playmaker for sure and has even more upside in the future. Nice finding solid starters in round 5 (Wyatt Teller also on that same track).

He is holding his own in coverage. May need to put some size on to play the run. Could be be a great find as a UDFA.

Allen is a gamer and should continue to improve. He still has a lot to learn and work on. Barkley is a much more capable backup than what we have had in awhile (Peterman, Manual, etc). I would not mind drafting another prospect for the PS next year.

Beating St. Doug was fun. Seeing him fire his trusty OC afterwards adds to the enjoyment. Hackett never had a chance with Bortles running the offense.

I say he is in the top 3. Definitely a shut down corner and a fantastic player. The dancing behind the ref was pretty dumb, especially with the call on us. I get it, some of you guys like that stuff, there is more showboating in this league than ever. If the already over-officious refs tacked on an unsportsmanlike penalty that would have been real bad.

Coach McD handled it correctly after the game. He expects his team to stick up for each other, not to back down, and no further punishment will be made by him on Lawson. I think coach McD earns even more credibility oin the locker room too. He seemed to like having blood on his sweatshirt. Fighting is not a good thing but that escalated quickly and helped fire up the Bills. The Jags had the ball, first down on the 1 in a tie 14-14 game ... and they ended up with 0 points. Yes indeed, the game changed after that play.

Classy? Classy would be not opening your mouth and dissing a rookie on draft day, before the kid ever plays a game in the NFL.

Why? Haven’t we ate enough contracts? He is on the team that’s why. I believe you should work for your pay. You asked and I responded - I would not play his game and bench him. Go to work Benjamin and catch the dam ball. He should know that the film does not lie and he is looking for his next gig.

Benching him is what he wants. He wants to sit out, not get hurt, and collect his money. Then blame the team for his low production once he becomes a free agent. I would dress him but see no need to start him. Let him play situationally. Make him work.

Great story. He is an impact player in a much bigger way than we hoped.
