PS - a 15 million dollar average contract would put him at tied for 18th most among Dline. I'd argue he is a top 20 d lineman at this point in his career, even with some decline in his play. Dude wants to win a super bowl, but he also wants to get paid a reasonable salary.

What did folks think he was going to get? The top edge rushers are getting 20+ million. He is still a well above average DLman. The best you could have hoped for was 13-14million. 15-18 million is what I was anticipating.

Our linebackers are the same and they are the ones that will be key in containing Lamar. The only D lineman we miss is Lawson in run defense.

Lots of OCs design brilliant plays, but it comes down to players executing that plan. Daboll has done a good job, but the reason he is such a hot commodity is because Allen emerged as an elite QB. Remember when the OC was always the most hated man in WNY until we got a QB?

For as bad as our defense was early in the season, they have consistently been able to take away what the other offense does best. If those offenses are dynamic and can switch to something else, they were getting gouged the first 8 weeks. To me, bring on the Ravens. I have complete confidence that the bills can bottle him up and be patient. The browns are the type of team to over pursue and get taken advantage of by a mobile QB. McD will have a plan and will shut him down.

It isn’t their fault. That was the bills fanbase 2 years ago. When you don’t have a franchise QB, you try to convince yourself the guy your team passed on isn’t a franchise elite QB. Lots of folks here tried to do that with Mahomes his first year until it was undeniable. two more CBs out for Denver means Josh will likely silence his Denver haters this week. I expect a big game.

No, they have a great coach. End of story. He will find a good enough QB to get them back in the playoff mix in the not so distant future. This was a throwaway year for them.

If Josh Allen is the QB we think he is... it won't matter. As others have said, if you put weapons around him the offense will be fine. For as many great play calls that he has, he also has some bonehead ones too. He is a good coach, but like everything, it all comes down to the talent and the head coach.

Haha,... Mullens had a 70 QBR for the game, just 5 points less than Allen. Makes sense. I know I would have had a hard time picking which QB had a better game last night...🤦‍♂️
