Bills cuts to get to 53 [final info in the OP]
Back2Buff replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm perfectly fine with Bass kicking in the end zone every kick off and we shouldn't be punting too much. You really shouldn't need more than Neal, Kumerow, Smith, and Matakevich as ST aces. -

I don't believe in gentleman's agreements when money in on the line. Hollister is now allowed to negotiate with any team. It could cost the Bills more than 550k than what they were going to pay Hollister. -

Hollister would have a lot more interest on open market than Jones. lol, what the heck has Cam Lewis shown. These Bills reporters are so delusional at times. -

Hopefully this means T.Jones ain't making the team at all. They doing the cut and re-sign with Hollister instead of T.Jones -
I think then you would be cutting D Johnson, who I think is a better ST player than Kumerow. I think Kumerow on a normal basis will have less than 5 snaps on offense and is just an ok ST player. I just don't understand how that is enough to warrant a roster spot on this team.
-
Kumerow not being used in red zone of Sat with first team offense was a pretty good indicator he isn't going to have a role this year unless multiple people get hurt. I don't know if I would want to keep a guy on a one year deal that is 29 years old that will have a very small role on this team, versus a guy like Stevenson who is young and under control for 4 years.

Have you gotten your tax refund back?
Back2Buff replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Off the Wall
The IRS is one of the worst run organizations in the this country. I personally do my taxes throughout the year and mess with my deductions to make sure my takes are pretty much right on so I don't need to pay or get a lot of money back. Usually get it within 100 dollars or so. I think people forget that most are just getting back what they overpaid, just don't overpay. -
Dodson needs to be on the roster with the way Milano always gets injured. We need 6 LBs. At one point last year, I think we had 7 or 8. Hodgins doesn't need to be on this team. I don't get the obsession with him. Doyle doesn't deserve to be on team. Those are not super bowl caliber CBs. Scary thin. How did he write this roster with 1 TE on it.

Is Powell not on this team?
-
That's way to far back to pick which player I like better. I liked McGee, lol
-
They would have just kept Lenoir then and had Powell do kick offs. They signed a guy that is pretty identical to Mckenzie.
-
Zimmer has made one play while getting blown up on all others. Phillips bulk will be huge to get the LBs going. Butler is a lot better than Zimmer. Zimmer is an undersized DT that any team could have signed for multiple years, and has always ended in the same spot.
-
Plays a lot like Mckenzie. Interesting signing.
-
I've heard minimum 8 weeks with Mckenzie, but not sure I trusted the guy. Either way, the dude told me it wasn't good yesterday, and this kind of shows that.
-
Star Ed Butler Phillips Basham and Obada will flip inside too. Zimmer on PS
-
Zimmer ain't making it, unless Harrison goes to IR
-
I was measuring their impact to the team.
-
Who plays different positions?
-
Seeing people say Harrison should be cut makes my head hurt. He is the best 1 T we have. The guy put on some serious girth and looked great in preseason. He would have overtaken Star as the starter. Also, Zimmer is a PS, reserve player at best. Harrison is 10x the player Zimmer is.
-
Ummmm, they placed 4 on the COVID reserve list. What you talking about?? Wrong, 4 players placed on COVID reserve list today. They brought in 2 guys already.
-
Again, they did not have to cut players because of the 5 guys on COVID reserve. We could have had all these players for Sat, and cut them after the game. Again, they got down to the number by the 5 on COVID reserve. They are now 5 below the number they need to be
-
We put 5 players on the COVID reserve list, which put us down to the required 81. We are now at 76 players, five less than what was required. The Bills are at 76 with 5 players on the COVID reserve list.
-
Releasing 5 players when you don't have to before a preseason game is such bad management. Wonder what player will end up hurt that you planned to rely upon for the regular season. These are 5 guys that should have been getting a ton of time on Sat.
