  1. Took the daughter and some friends to training camp on Sunday, which was my first trip in probably 6-8 years. Some of this is going to come off like a "Get of my Lawn!" post, but I was really disappointed with the changes that have occurred. Let me just start with the VIP guests because that's my biggest overall gripe. First off, the places I used to park and get the quickest shuttle in is now a VIP parking lot. They can park and walk right in without a shuttle. Then, when you get to the field, you can't be right up on the fence on the home side, because again, it's been blocked off for the VIP members. Then you also have the tent areas, which were like gold on a hot day, only for the VIP areas. In fact, there was almost no areas of shade for regular visitors. Then we have player access. They did have their normal tent with 2 players signing and another note about which positions would visit the fence for autographs, so good for them. But overall, they've now completely blocked off access to the players from the facility to the field. I don't know why this matters to me, but it just felt strange to me. The only place you could see a player up close was if you happened to sit on the overlook on the bleachers where they walked out on the field. Kudos to Tre White for stopping to sign autographs, but that area maybe fit 10 total people and they obviously weren't going to move. So these people just locked themselves to the fence right there and didn't let any kids get close. Judging the amount of stuff they had to sign, I believe they knew what they were doing and were sellers. The kids area was weaker than I remember. They had a large beer pong setup where the balls kept deflecting off the cups and hitting the kids around them. They got rid of the field goal kick and the going out for a pass experience. It's also all on pavement now. Overall, just a weaker experience and the kids were disappointed. Lastly, and this pissed me off the most in the moment but it's probably from me having a kid. The whole point in me wanting to go was to have my daughter meet some players, get some signatures, and start her fandom off right. She was all excited. All I wanted was a White Bills Shirt or Jersey. Just something she could get signed. Do you know what they don't sell there? White Bills apparel for kids. No hats, no visors, no shirts, no jerseys. I about lost it. Not only had I shopped the Rochester area for the past few days at no less than 10 stores, but even they didn't have anything. Am I crazy for thinking a generic white Bills jersey for kids would be a basic item at training camp? I mean, c'mon? They had mini-helmets for $32, seriously? Oh yeah, and they didn't even collect the tickets you supposedly needed to get into the practice. So that was a wasted trip by my friends to get them. Sorry for the rant. I feel like a grumpy old man, but it all pissed me off. Actual Practice Notes: We have some tiny WR's out there. Shaq is slow All of the QB's showed some solid accuracy and made me even better about the position after the preseason game. If I had to pick a starter right now, and I'll change my mind the minute he's in a game and sees any real pressure, it would be Peterman McCoy still looks fast and versatile as ever This offense is all about quick release, spreading the field, and placing the ball all over the field. Lot's of wheel routes too.
  2. When can you get in? Want to hit the Bills store and kids want to use the play area. Also, do we know who is signing?
  3. The sad thing is, I actually looked and didn’t see it.
  4. First practice in a while, anyone know the signing schedule or if the shuttle options have changed?
  5. Tough to judge in preseason when most teams run a base defense and don’t blitz.
  6. I’ve been at the airport for 3 days with my “Welcome Mack” sign. I’m starting to feel a little stupid.
  7. Just hit all the stores in Henrietta and wasn’t impressed. Kohl’s had the best selection, but was surprised at their pricing. I’m going to try Olympia tomorrow and if that doesn’t work, then training camp shop it is. Thank you all
  8. I didn’t unfortunately. We were running late for the game and hit Arby’s. I usually hit duffs and do Buffalo Mac and cheese at the game. Sausage from a vendor outside. First time with the little one and it threw off my rhythm. But well worth it for a video of her singing the shout song for the first time.
  9. Cam seems like a dude who is just fake as !@#$. I think Kelvin knew Cam was going to try to throw some bull crap to him and he wasn’t having it. Beyond that, he was a bonafide #1 out there. First we’ve seen since Sammy a few years back.
  10. All that’s left is fat and bone....
  11. Saw them. Way too much Patriots gear. I almost threw up. But yes, they were okay. Not a lot of kids stuff. Baby, yes. Toddler, no. Thank you
  12. Yeah, I’m trying to avoid that and want to wear the clothes there. The Bills store at the game was insanely pricey. I really want a kids white plain jersey so she can get autographs and really step up her love for the team
  13. I’ll give them a try. Anyone ever shop kohls for stuff like?
  14. I’m in town for the week after the game last night and I’m having a hard time finding a good place to load up on Bills apparel. I’m in Rochester and tried the Dick’s, Old Navy, Target, and Macy’s in Victor. The options weren’t great. Any suggestions of places that have a decent selection for adults and kids. Bonus points for Yankees gear too. Thanks
  15. He’s got a different swagger to him in his second year. I liked that a lot. Actually answered some questions and shut down the reporters fishing. Loving the man
  16. I’m sure our pure passing attack while auditioning QB’s and lack of shady had nothing to do with it either.
  17. His arm strength actually looks worse in person. But I can’t argue with the result. On the first PI call, he was really late with that throw
  18. The way we are featuring Benjamin, it feels like the game before we traded Sammy
  19. There’s two Ticketmaster’s. There’s the main one that does all their normal ticket sales and there there’s one for each NFL Team. Your NFL tickets won’t show up at all on your main app. I learned this this when I got my Ravens/Bills tickets. You need to get the app for the Bills tickets and transfer them through that
  20. And this is where, in the absense of results, they all slowly turn on each other.....
  21. This is an automated response. This topic is already being discussed in another thread. Please use the search function before creating a new topic and stop killing the ridiculously long threads about probably nothing.
  22. There’s no way it can be something big without anyone in the media catching wind of it. Especially if it’s taking this long to develop
  23. Is it cheaper and easier to park at the stadium for a preseason game? I haven’t been to a preseason game in a while, just regular and are used to parking a little ways away
  24. If this is an option and we know this year isn’t going to be competitive, why not just try to sign him as a FA? With where our team will be with picks and cap space, why do it now when it could be easier later?
