I feel like great coaches with tailored personnel struggle with this offense. Their defense is going to get exhausted

No one had posted anything about any of the Bills signings in that thread when I posted this. I put this out before 26 added his. I thought that was discussion. When Edmunds and Allen signs, that’s threadworthy to me. If not, a mod can merge.

Henry was impressive for his size and always seemed to fall forward. Unfortunately, he also couldn’t seem to pull out.

Because you can't have enough options at QB, he was cheap, and we didn't have Allen or were positive we could draft a QB.

Not saying you are wrong. But he really wasn't expected to come in and be the starter.

I don't remembering arguing with you earlier. And no, we don't. We don't know anything yet. Any of the drafted rookies could fall flat on their face including the guys who were drafted last year. Most teams are one QB injury away from being the worst. If Brady breaks a nail, they have nothing. We have no idea what McCarron can do. We have no idea what Peterman will do. Hell, we have no idea what our offensive coordinator will do. He could make a fool proof system that allows Allen to start.

C - Can't possibly know until AJ has played a snap. However, TT stole the show and job right out of training camp, so we will see in July

I take the over here. While TT didn't turn the ball over, he also didn't exactly put up good numbers last year. I think we may have more turnovers, but also more big plays, which should wash out. With an easier schedule, a stronger defense, and a second year of McDermott, I think 7 wins should be doable. The only question mark I really have is how quickly our QB's can adapt to the new offensive scheme and if Zay can fix his past/off-season issues.

This honestly makes me feel better. I still don’t like giving up our 2nds in the trade up, but it means Mayfield and Darnold were never options. And, I trust Beane if he says Allen was better than Rosen.

I really think our lack of DT hurt our rushers. We’ve now add one Star, pun intended, and Phillips who are going to be a handful. On that alone, we will be better. Add Trent Murphy in and we are already a hugely upgraded unit. Does everyone think we are good at OLB with just Lorax and Milano? Lorax is getting older and only seems to make an impact when utilized certain ways.
