  1. I don’t understand how our defense is rated so high. We don’t get the sacks or turnovers, and we’ve been giving up a decent share of points. Are other defenses really that bad?
  2. I know there’s been a lot of ups and downs this season. Seriously, lesser teams would have folded up shop by now. It’s sucks to lose the one seed like we did. It hurts wondering if Von and Hyde will cost us in the playoffs. But as I see Black Monday roll around, front offices reaching out to any potential future coaches, praying they can turn their losing team around, thinking about the draft and FA, already, it makes me so appreciative for what we have. 5 years ago, our season would have started today. We would have been wishing for the next HC, draft pick, quarterback would could save us. Today, I see all these articles about interviews and players retiring, etc, and I’m just thankful. I never, EVER, doubt what we have as being elite talent and support. Is it SB worthy, maybe and maybe not. But I know we are so far ahead of 90% of the league and have the right core to keep fighting. We have the best fan base in the league, best possible QB for this team, and setup for success for years to come. Go Bills
  3. Someone just told me he was released from the hospital and is heading back to Buffalo. I can't find anything to confirm
  4. I like Gabe and he's come up big, but also hasn't done anything to establish himself as a threat that relieves pressure on Diggs. I agree that he's better lined up in the slot, but he's not a slot receiver. I let him play out his deal and see what next year does for him. Sadly, someone will pay him. He may not get Kirk money, but I could see him getting 12-15 per.
  5. I would love to see Hamlin at the game on Sunday, walking the team out of the tunnel.
  6. Watson is the only one that created a problem, but even that is perspective based. Allen and Mahomes deals will essentially be guaranteed barring injury or early retirement. Neither are being cut and will see all of their money. Any QB who doesn't fail horribly is too valuable to be let go, and typically gets their money. Wilson's deal was just poor evaluation, but a deal that most teams would have given him. Murray's deal was terrible to me, and I think to many at the time. They don't deserve and out clause. The Packers were idiots to give Rodgers that much money at his age and it may really bite them in the ass. I expect to see the trend on deals to look more like Allen and Mahomes, but they yearly average to be in the 50's. Herbert and Burrow will prove that possibly this offseason
  7. And has no chance of playing the Bills or Bengals in round 2. What a gift
  8. I would want nothing to do with that job. Watt leaving, Murray is a man-child with a dumb contract, just a team built for one goal that will pry need to be torn down to make room for any other system. They really put all their eggs in the Kingsbury/Murray basket
  9. I hope Brady comes back so Allen can beat him once
  10. I’m gonna let you think this one out on your own…..
  11. Have that conversation when it happens. Why is there a rush on everything else? It hasn't even been 24 hours
  12. Maybe I'm the ####### here, but I just don't give a ***** about any of this. At this point, the Bills could take the L for the Bengals and forfeit the Pats game. It sucks from a football perspective and for all the hard work the players put in, but I think the players will tell you that none of this matters. Hamlin's health is literally all that matters at this point. I get that some people need to distract themselves in times like this, but I honestly feel like the majority of people talking standings are just being selfish. The football part will play itself out. But right now, it just doesn't matter. I almost wish this thread was pinned and locked, because the interest being on the wrong things is disturbing to me
  13. Anyone else listening to wgr on audacity? Dude just called in angry that they haven’t decided what to do about the game. ***** that guy
  14. Well, so far in the Bengals game, he’s not wrong
  15. I think the same way for March madness. But hey, someone has to do it, so why not us. I do know this, talent aside, we know the Chiefs, Bengals, and Bills all have the mindset to do it. Bills really learned how to win those close games this year. I think that is going to pay off
  16. Shakir and Cook are still TBD. Did Beane draft Dawkins? Motor is fine, nothing more or less. I’m giving him credit for Gabe, but even that is very hit or miss and I’d say below expectations this year. No where did I say that we should not have Beane. I’m saying he hasn’t shown the same success rate at those positions to indicate the scouting prowless he has at other positions. Thanks for the correction on Dobbins. I do believe that Dobbins would have shored up the position, saved the motor, moss, and maybe Cook picks for other positions. I would gladly sacrifice AJ for Dobbins. There’s no way to know if he would have gotten injured with us
  17. I've never seen a college QB hit a wall like Geno did at WV. He was an absolute monster the first half of his final season and on his way to being a top 3 pick. And then out of nowhere, just couldn't get anything done in the second half. It was bizarre to me. I always liked the kid and am glad to see him getting a chance in Seattle. I also really like EJ and feel like he got hosed from a developmental standpoint, but oh well
  18. If I'm not mistaken, Dobbins was taken right after Boogie, so yes. However, at the time of the pick, it was considered to be a value pick because he can lineup both in and outside. I don't think it's worked out yet and probably won't be a solid starter. The fact that they took Groot the pick before also makes it look worse. For Beane, I think he's great at drafting certain positions and terrible at others. To date, he has not proven to know how to draft Offensive lineman, Receivers, and 50/50 on defensive lineman and runningbacks. Gabe Davis is his one exception so far at the receiver position. He knocks it out of the park with Linebackers, DB's, and QBs.
  19. Now that the sting of us wasting a first round pick on him has worn off, I like Shaq as a contributor. He's great in run defense and qb contain He's a solid rotating piece that I would love to keep around for the right price. AJ Klein is of a similar pedigree to me. AJ and Shaq did a great job against Fields
  20. Safety, offensive line, and anyone we lose in FA. Everything else is fine as is. Also, I guess look ahead as to who we would lose the year after
  21. Will Josh even be able to throw the ball? I’m in the semi finals for my fantasy league and have Josh, Diggs, Bass, Motor, Knox, and Bills Defense I’m debating benching everyone but Motor and the defense.
  22. Hype matters for a bust, not just draft selection. Wilson may have been drafted high, but it wasn’t a debate for him to go first overall. By that logic, you’d have to include Akili Smith and Tim Couch. I agree with Russell and Leaf, as they were huge coming out of college and expected to be great. Plus, they got hugely different contracts.
  23. I’m surprised we don’t ever see zero blitzes on 3rd and long. Seems effective for the most part
  24. Can’t say I noticed him one way or the other in this game, which would likely indicate you are correct
