    It's a tomato tomato thing. Bonus is up front money, base salary is spread out over the season. The bonus still hits the cap, but is spread out over the length of the deal. Hence why they also added a few years. Hypothetically (not real numbers), it could save them 30 mil in cap space, but add 5 mil in dead cap space for each of the next 5 years

    Urlacher made plays. Edmunds doesn’t. Edmunds lack of big play ability makes him expendable to me. If our expectations are only for him to not mess up and be functional, then we will never win the Super Bowl.

    I just checked the trade chart. If you think that DJ Moore is worth a late first round pick, then it’s fair. I feel like teams usually have overpay to get into the top 5. I don’t think Moore would fetch a late first round pick, so it seems like the Panthers paid under value. With so many teams wanting a QB, I expected more competition

    I think they will still get something done with Brown. The Chiefs do have some cap space, so I'm sure they'll be able to bring back just enough players to be a pain again
