Why is it an awful pick? Plenty of OT's go in the first round. If there's someone that can start Day 1 at RT, or even push a Guard spot, I'm all for it. I've said this a few times; I want every single person on that line to fight for their job.

OT or MLB are the only two answers in the first two rounds, barring some magical FA addition. Another WR means nothing if Josh doesn't have time and confidence in his line. Give Josh an extra second to throw and you'll see guys on the current roster magically get more open We also can't run our defense with who is currently on the roster at MLB. We need to make our defense competent in the middle.

Hey everyone, I'm starting to get some people reaching out about the annual mock draft we've run here on the site the past few years. For starters, yes, it's going to happen. As of now, I'm thinking the Mock 1.0 will start Easter Sunday, with sign-ups opening a few days prior. I'm starting it all a week later than last year so there isn't as much lull between drafts and I don't want to use all of my daughters spring break updated the draft on my phone. This is my overall plan as of now: Mock 1.0 - Full Trades, 3 Rounds - Starts 4/8 evening. This one typically goes the fastest. If we aren't going to finish within the week, we may cut it off at 2 rounds Mock 2.0 - No Trades, 2 Rounds - Starts 4/16. I don't see any issues getting this completed in a week Mock 3.0 - Trades, 1 Round - Starts 4/23. While the draft is that Thursday night, 4 days with trades has been done in the past. Solid signing and good depth with Hyde and Poyer's age. Only 25 years old, so could be a good audition for him to sign longer next offseason

I don’t see how this changes the narrative at all. Even if someone trades for him, they still need to negotiate a contract for him, which no one seems to want to meet his demands. And if he took less money, that trade would still be more than two 1sts.
