  1. The players said all of that after they lost to Cinci. There was no such talk of that prior to the game. If so, go ahead and give me evidence of such. In fact, one could argue the opposite narrative. The Bills were a team of destiny due to Damar making a miraculous recovery. Win it all for Damar was a common theme. It's destiny and fate wasn't uncommon to hear. Bills playing at home!!! Huge home field advantage. Bengals oline depleted. Bills gonna smash Burrow. There was no fuc!!!!! talking of limping prior to the game. There was no talk of being gassed even after the Miami playoff win. Listen to Allen and the rest of the Bills afterwards. They talked about being resilient, winning is all that counts, and playing better. Not one Bills fan I know said the team looked gassed. They don't have anything in the tank. The season is basically over they are on fumes. Instead, it was a resounding theme of how the Bills were gonna smash the Bengals. A few dissenters caught hell for their differing view. Low and behold is that a common theme. Let's talk reality rather than an alternate reality that fits your views. The limping in shiiiiit is non sense. They just get beat by a better prepared team that is a bad match up for Buffalo. Not to mention the McD game plan was horrific. Who knows what happens in Sunday. I hope to the high heaven the Bills blowout the Steelers. If not, I'll take a win ugly. Just win!!!
  2. That's really yet to be determined. Your opinion is duely noted but it's just that.
  3. It's the opposite side of the ball that hurts. The wind can negatively effect the Bills passing game. That's where they have a clear advantage over Pitt. Do you really want the game to come down to a running game vs Pitt? I don't. They have been on a tear running the ball and it's not like the Bills have been consistent stopping it. D Jones will help though. IMHO, a clear weather game with minimal wind would be ideal. Unfortunately, that's unlikely to happen. They didn't limp in. They went on a winning straight similar to this year.
  4. We will see. That was the same theme as last year until they lost. Then the flip of excuses suddenly appeared. Just saying...
  5. That really hurts the Bills chances. Especially, the Douglas injury. Damn is right
  6. They had one last year vs the Bengals.
  7. You can get paid in BTC too.
  8. Well said. I feel the same way. It's like ying and yang in my mind. Lol. Good one.
  9. My point went right over your head. With Allen BB will likely bring the Lombardi Trophy to Buffalo. BB + Allen = Lombardi Trophy McD + Allen = 44% playoff record
  10. Also, the Bills often come out of the gates slowly. They can't afford to do this on Sunday. The more I analyze this game the more this game scares me.
  11. Can you see Allen fumbling? I think the Steelers will have a solid plan to contain Allen. I doubt they let him beat them with his legs. Of course, Allen is great at making plays.
  12. There's always a chance of a letdown. Maybe the the team will be gassed from making the run into the playoffs. They have played 5 straight games of basically playoff football. At some point, that might take it's toll. What happened last year vs the Bengals. The team was gassed, emotionally spent, and had nothing. Of course, that was the theme after the fact. Lets get ahead of the narrative here.
  13. Coaching is the most glaring reason why the Bills haven't reaching the SB under McD. No need to go back game by game to illustrate and support this claim. It's there for all of us to see. The only question is do you want see it, ignore it, or excuse it? I suspect Tomlin and the Steelers will out plan, out coach, out adjust the Bills. Hopefully, the Bills talent prevails over the inferior Steelers.
  14. Got out of here. This is ridiculous!
  15. Really? Put your feelings aside here. BB knows how to win! He's the GOAT! He'd bring immediate credibility to being a winner would instantly be felt in the locker one. Six Lombardi's and 10 SB appearances doesn't grow on trees. BB still has it. All he needs is a QB. BB+Allen=Lombardi Trophy. Can you say the same about McD? No no no no no and no. Six or seven years and counting with jack shi! This is a no brainier in my eyes. Only question is an offensive coordinator. Maybe McDaniels?
  16. Interesting. Wondering if BB is interested in coaching the Bills? His defense would be just as good or better than McD's and we know what he did with an elite QB. That winning record and recipe is good food for Bills fans. The only way it happens is if the Bills lose this Sunday. Could be the silver lining. I'm still wanting a Bills win regardless.
  17. The offense vs Miami was very good with the exception of turnovers and finishing in the red zone. Basically, the Bills stopped themselves more than Miami stopping us. The Bills had several plus 20 yard plays. Allen was 30-38 for 360125 yards. That's really good. The Bill rushed for over 125 yards. That's really good. I feel like in the right environment weather wise the Bills offense would be successful against Pitt. I have less confidence in a very windy, cold, and snowy atmosphere.
  18. I think you just found the "out" if the Bills lose. It won't be McD's fault, the roster, player execution , etc... Rather it will be the weather. So hope this doesn't happen. Pitt has been pounding the rock well lately. Harris and Warren have looked very good down the stretch.
  19. That's the scary part for me. That's right in Pittsburgh's wheelhouse.
  20. Nice post. The playoff failures are the very reason why I've been banging the drum for a new coach. Hopefully, a McD lead Bills team can have more success this year. Losing to Pitt would be borderline catastrophic. Perhaps, an over simplification but you get the point. Imho, it would take many fans to the breaking point. Hopefully, we don't go there. However, your numbers implicate McD and the Bills should win the game. Pitt is the exact kind of playoff opponent McD beats. A less than stellar team with an average to poor QB. I believe his defense will have great success vs Pitt. McD does get first round wins. I'm more worried about the offense here. The turnovers continue to be concerning. It's really feast or famine with Allen from series to series almost. It almost feels like I'm on edge watching the offense play. Am I the only one saying no turn no turnover no turnover while watching the offense? It's pretty nerve wrecking. The Pitt D gets turnovers. No Watt is huge though. I believe the Brady honeymoon phase is over. He's by far better than Dorsey but there's tape and tendencies that teams can now evaluate. Pitt will absolutely have a solid game. IMHO, the Bills offensive talent should prevail but weather can be a huge detriment. Can't wait til Sunday.
  21. McD has done a solid job coaching up the defense in the last half of the season. His defense blew some games early on but since then they have closed the door and finished off teams. Dare I say, I'm buying into the McD D. My fear in this game is Pitt seemingly hangs around, makes a key big play or two, and wins ugly. I'm hoping the Bills' talent shines through this game. McD should have this team ready to play. No Watt is likely a difference maker.
  22. I'm a bit concerned about the possible game script. If the weather is quite poor; meaning cold, very windy, and snowing this could severely impact the Bills passing game. I think this negates are huge advantage for the Bills. I myself don't want the Bills to get into a possession type run game scenario and game script with Pitt. That's exactly their strength. There's much less room for error here. I'd rather have the Bills march down the field with a quick striking passing game. Utilizing Cook, Shakir, Kincaid, and Diggs. Get some big chunk plays and mix in the run. Go up two scores and force Pitt to pass more. Perhaps they will be able to still accomplish this. I hate the fact that weather be reduce the Bills chances of winning. Side note. A 10 point spread is ridiculously high. Take the points and cash your tickets.
  23. There's a couple of huge discrepancies here. Those guys have won a SB. Once you win one the bar kind of changes. Fair or not that's the way it's progressed. Secondly, the bar changes when you have a top three QB in the league. The bar and expectations change. Fair or not that's the way it progressed. I don't think it's an unreasonable expectation to think the Bills should have at least made a SB appearance during Allen's tenure. Do you? IMHO, it's clear the team has fallen short of its goals, especially during the last two years. Sure injuries and unforseen circumstances contributed. Luck hasn't been kind to the Bills. Nevertheless, McD and Beane hasn't come close to sniffing a SB appearance let alone win one. Until then, I think it's fair game to criticize the regime. Perhaps, you think the bar is set too high. Perhaps, you are satisfied with regular season victories and AFC titles. I get that and I enjoy that as well. However, don't you want more? Don't you think the Bills should have achieved more? Where is the line drawn? When is enough enough? What is the standard? Is SB or bust fair? Lots of difficult decisions to answer. No one knows the outcome and future here. What's known is fans of Buffalo badly want a Lombardi. Badly want to represent the AFC. Until then there will always be criticism and unsatisfied fans. Don't get me wrong, we fans will always support and follow the team. Almost to a flaw. The Bills are part of Buffalo. In a sense, we eat, sleep, and think about Bills football. It's a major part of the community. Bills Mafia is real. Is there any other fan base that deserves more? Go Bills!!!
  24. I see it much differently than you but I respect your viewpoint. Not sure why it's bothersome or negative to talk about if the Bills losing and it's ramifications. Yet, I'm fairly certain you would welcome with open arms a thread that talks about the Bills winning and the next step in the playoffs. Both topics are appropriate to discuss, elaborate, and illicit opinions. I do stand by my previous statement of slinging mud. It was a cheap shot at McD dissenters with no proof whatsoever to an outlandish claim. I just can't fathom a Bills fan desiring a loss to Pitt for the sake of McD. That's just unreasonable and a huge thinking error. Anyone who takes this viewpoint at TBD please come forward. Let's see who you are and how many. Let's get some proof.
