  1. Maybe, but I have to think a terrible weather day usually helps the inferior team. Pitt is just that. If the wind is over 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph the passing game is virtually dead or at least severely hampered. No man can pass in those conditions. It is concerning despite your spin.
  2. Harris rushed for 1,035 yards for an average of 4.1 yards a carry. 8tds Warren rushed for 784 yards for an average of 5.1 yards a carry. 4 tds Harris 29 catches for 170 yards. Warren 69 catches for 370 yards . Last 3 games Steelers ran for 155 yards vs Baltimore, 202 yards vs Seattle, and 113 yards vs Cinci.
  3. Different teams with different players and schemes. The stats you cited are meaningless.
  4. I'm not sure if some know the how bad the weather conditions favor the Steelers. Let me try to make my points. The Steelers are all run team and a good run team. They aren't easy to stop. Their schemes are complex, diverse, and hard to predict. They employ gap, zone, and power running. It's an absolute strength of theirs. Is the Buffalo D vs the run suspect? Absolutely, I think it's safe to say they are a middling run stop D. That's probably being a little kind. Let's talk Buffalo's run game. Cook has absolutely sucked since the cowboy game. That was a one off for sure. I believe in the last 3 games he's average the lowest yards after contact for RBs. Not to mention his ball control issues. I think we are all going to cringe and hold our breath when he gets the rock. How effective will Allen be running? How often will he be a designed runner? Will the Steelers have a spy? If there is serious wind the Bills pass game will be severely downgraded. Huge tactical loss for the Bills! Joe Marino made a statement that really stick in my head. He stated "don't let Pitt control the game script." I agree 100%. The problem is the weather is likely to control the game script for Pitt!!! As for myself, I don't want to get into a running game match with Pitt. This is a recipe to lose.
  5. Trust your eyes. Go back and look at the Bills playoff games. It's right there for you to see; especially, the last two years which is glaring...
  6. So we already won the SB then with the winning streak? Yes it makes a difference. It's still a different animal.
  7. That's a bit too steep for me. More like $50.
  8. You can spin it anyway you like. Mahomes is unquestionable the number one QB in the league.
  9. Agree. If the game becomes run vs run the Steelers will likely win the game. Their running game is really good. You can look at the stats for the last few games. Harris and Warren are a very good one two combo. The Bills run game isn't bad but Cook isn't powerful enough in a run only game. Lenny can be good in this situation but who knows if he plays and how much. The weather is setting up well for a Steeler upset. If the weather was nice I'd absolutely be on the Bills. However, with little to no passing the edge goes to the Steelers. For those who are betting the game. Take the 10 points and run. I'm contemplating a money line bet +400 on the Steelers too.
  10. Come playoff the McD has been disappointing. So what. I doubt the Steelers pass game can beat the Bills. It's playoff time. This isn't the time to trust McD. Sorry but it's true.
  11. Agree. Ditch the nickel base defense and load the box.
  12. You do know that KC won their division and is in the playoffs? The guy has two rings and won one of them on one leg. I have to laugh at people who have Allen rated ahead of Mahomes.
  13. I agree 100% but that's a far cry from the out of gas excuse people want to peddle. Thanks! I thought I would get a lot of negative feedback. Just wondering how good do you think this team is now? This team scares me because it's so inconsistent. They can be really good or really bad. Even during this winning streak they haven't really been too impressive.
  14. I'm not buying that for one minute John. I know many here want to buy into that narrative. Prior to the game there was never any indication that the team was empty, had nothing left, couldn't focus, drained, life less, psychology spent, etc... Not once did I hear, read, or see anything remotely close that indicated they had nothing left. In fact, the narrative in many instances was a complete 180. Many were saying this was a team of destiny. Signs galore win one for Damar. Damar was at the stadium! What a boost it would give the team and fans. Frenzied home crowd advantage. Bengals oline a shell of itself. The Bills would crush Burrow. Where was this nothing left in the tank theory? Didn't even hear any scuttlebutt about this. Even after the Miami game, what was the resounding theme. Gutted out a win even though they played poorly. Resilient team. Gotta play better. Nada about being flat or running out of football fuel. Not a peep. Did you hear anything? I heard was how McD was out coached. That was crystal clear. Prior to the game please go back on this message board and find me a poster who felt like the Bills would be flat, out of gas, unable to compete, etc ... I'll save you some time. It doesn't exist because the narrative was created after the fact. After they shi! the bed A narrative created after the fact that saw a Bengals team buzz saw through the termite infested Bills team. A coaching staff that had no game plan after getting waxed in a dress rehearsal weeks before. To this day, I have no idea what they were thinking. McD had to create this thesis to save face. His team was clearly unprepared, outclassed, and taken to the wood shed. Dorsey was as lost as ever. Frazier was as lost as ever. McD was as lost as ever. It was utter incompetence staying us in the face. Hard to swallow after the previous year's 13 second disaster. Trust your eyes not a false narrative. Go Bills!!!
  15. I'll give you that Mahomes is better than Allen. I think Allen is a top 3 QB and match that with BB and I think that's a winning combination. I never implied Allen is as good as Brady. I do believe Allen is good enough to lead a Bills team to a SB with the right coaching. I think you are really selling BB short here. The guy is unquestionably a very smart football guy. What worked for him and Brady doesn't necessarily equate to him and Allen. I believe BB has the ability to adapt, get Allen weapons, protection, etc ...The guy is a proven winner with 10 freaking SB appearances and winning 6 of them. Of course, the argument will be it's all Brady but that's just not the case. It was a great marriage sort of speak. I firmly believe BB with his experience and a QB like Allen can lead the Bills to the SB within 3 years. I cannot say the same about McD. I wouldn't mind taking a shot with the soon to be winningest coach in the NFL who owns 6 rings. Feel free to disagree.
  16. Was hoping you would provide some evidence. I guess not.
  17. The players said all of that after they lost to Cinci. There was no such talk of that prior to the game. If so, go ahead and give me evidence of such. In fact, one could argue the opposite narrative. The Bills were a team of destiny due to Damar making a miraculous recovery. Win it all for Damar was a common theme. It's destiny and fate wasn't uncommon to hear. Bills playing at home!!! Huge home field advantage. Bengals oline depleted. Bills gonna smash Burrow. There was no fuc!!!!! talking of limping prior to the game. There was no talk of being gassed even after the Miami playoff win. Listen to Allen and the rest of the Bills afterwards. They talked about being resilient, winning is all that counts, and playing better. Not one Bills fan I know said the team looked gassed. They don't have anything in the tank. The season is basically over they are on fumes. Instead, it was a resounding theme of how the Bills were gonna smash the Bengals. A few dissenters caught hell for their differing view. Low and behold is that a common theme. Let's talk reality rather than an alternate reality that fits your views. The limping in shiiiiit is non sense. They just get beat by a better prepared team that is a bad match up for Buffalo. Not to mention the McD game plan was horrific. Who knows what happens in Sunday. I hope to the high heaven the Bills blowout the Steelers. If not, I'll take a win ugly. Just win!!!
  18. That's really yet to be determined. Your opinion is duely noted but it's just that.
  19. It's the opposite side of the ball that hurts. The wind can negatively effect the Bills passing game. That's where they have a clear advantage over Pitt. Do you really want the game to come down to a running game vs Pitt? I don't. They have been on a tear running the ball and it's not like the Bills have been consistent stopping it. D Jones will help though. IMHO, a clear weather game with minimal wind would be ideal. Unfortunately, that's unlikely to happen. They didn't limp in. They went on a winning straight similar to this year.
  20. We will see. That was the same theme as last year until they lost. Then the flip of excuses suddenly appeared. Just saying...
  21. That really hurts the Bills chances. Especially, the Douglas injury. Damn is right
  22. They had one last year vs the Bengals.
  23. You can get paid in BTC too.
