  1. The Cowboy offense is very good. The Bills defense with it's injuries will give up plays. Just limit them. That was a great stop there.
  2. Off to a nice start. I love the crowds energy.
  3. Hindsight is 20 20 but Goff at home is usually a safe play with much more upside than Wilson.
  4. Most definitely true. I just wonder why he hasn't been target deeper down the field. The guy looks smooth, dynamic, and catches everything. He should be more of a weapon.
  5. The Bills can be a very dangerous team when they are executing and playing well. Unfortunately, we haven't seen enough of the elite to very good Bills team. Tomorrow should give us a pretty good indicator if the team is ready to make a legitimate run. The AFC seems pretty wide open and I'm sure many teams think they have a decent shot at advancing far. I'm just hoping for the best. I'm not trying to get my hopes up. Remaining hopeful but not overly confident. This team hasn't performed at a high level for many games this season. I expect a focused Bills team and an excellent effort. Let's hope it's good enough.
  6. Oh wow. That would be assume to do. I'd be like a kid in a candy store. I'm out West and I'd definitely know what that shirt means.
  7. Agree with some of your points and others not so much. Cinci is still somewhat dangerous because of their offensive weapons and experience. However, I can't see them going deep in the playoffs without Burrow. I don't trust McD. By now, we've seen enough to know that. I trust Allen. He's the single reason why the Bills are so good. Brady will not play scared and handcuff Allen. Lamar finally has some quality WRs. I think he's capable of using his arm to win a big game. Miami looks to be coming back to earth. A healthy Hill still makes them dangerous. Chiefs, I would never count them out.
  8. I'll take a Bills win over the Cowboys. That's what matters the most.
  9. Fair response. I'm not saying 13 seconds defined McD. You certainly can't dismiss it either. It has to be a big ding against him no matter where you stand. There's plenty more than 13 seconds where McD has come up short, out coached, out planned, and out classed. Just look back at his playoff games and you will see ample evidence. Not just a single event here. I'd argue it's more of a pattern of not getting it done by McD. I will say that McD has been a very good regular season coach. The numbers support this and I'd be foolish to say otherwise. This fan wants more than a very good regular season coach. I want a better than a playoff winning 44%. Don't you? This season he's 7-6 and perhaps the most disappointing season in years. Wouldn't you agree? It's reasonable to argue is the team is going in the wrong direction? Is it reasonable to say a coaching chance might be needed? Lastly, I think Allen has to be brought into this discussion. McD has had able time with his franchise QB to achieve a SB appearance. Allen alone gets this team several wins. We will see how it plays out. It's clear McD isn't going anywhere soon. Hope you are correct.
  10. I agree. The more wind the better for Buffalo. Dallas relies on longer big explosive plays. I believe they are the best in the NFL with 20 plus yard completions. I can't remember when the Bills hit a deep pass.
  11. If Dallas brings their "A" game they will beat the Bills. Sure seems like you are selling the Cowboys short and over evaluating the Bills. Both teams can lose to any team especially bad ones. More so the 7-6 Bills than the 10-3 Bills. Wouldn't you agree? The Bills home field advantage here should be pretty big. Really like Cossell Strength vs Strength.
  12. I hear what you are saying. Allow me to respond. Coach McD has mostly failed in his playoff appearances. He's 4-5 in the playoffs. He's without a doubt blown games and been out coached far too much in these big games. There's really no debate here. It's pretty much a pattern that I expect to continue. Believe in what you see. To use other coaches failures and then subsequent successes as an indicator that McD will succeed doesn't prove anything. There's plenty of examples in the opposite direction. It has no relevance to McD's future success or lack of. Sure it's possible but it's perhaps more likely the continued failures continue. Beane deserves some blame as well. However, let's not negate the fact that McD likely has had a lot of input in Beane's decisions. Beane didn't blow 13 seconds or have the team ill prepared to play the biggest home playoff game in decades vs the Bengals. That's on coach McD!!! Fast forward to this year and the team has regressed under McD. The team is in jeopardy of losing the division and not making the playoffs. Who would have imagined this at the start of the season? Yet, fans want to give this coach more chances. Give him the benefit of the doubt. The window isn't closed but it certainly isn't opening wider. Years are ticking and McD with a franchise QB have largely squandered opportunities to appear in a SB. More of the same is likely coming. Run it back again seems to be the incorrect decision. Not sure how Bills fans can't see a need for change. It's time to move on from McD. Don't fear the unknown. The team can reach it's ultimate goal with a dynamic innovative coach not named McD. Let's not settle for good because good isn't good enough. McD is good but not good enough. Multiple blown playoff games and his 4-5 record are indicators of his shortcomings.
  13. This kind of fear prevents the Bills from advancing further. I believe this is the incorrect mindset to have. Often change is needed way before change is made. Case in point the Chargers. I'd argue with confidence McD and the Bills are applicable here. McD would actually be a great coach for the Chargers. He would instill a winning attitude and culture. The defense would be very solid and they'd likely make multiple playoff appearances. They would unlikely advance far but he would turn around the team and get them over the hump sort of speak. The team would be solid under his guidance. There are coaching candidates that are creative and innovative. McD has had plenty of time to make a SB appearance with his elite QB. This is just another failed year. How many more can and will this fan base accept? A failed playoff appearance is clearly realistic this year. How much more do we need to see? Let's stay with McD because he's safe and a great guy. No thanks for this fan. Get an assertive offensive minded coach. Can you imagine what Peyton would be doing with this team?
  14. Just wondering if one could make a similar argument in the Bills situation? Of course not on the same level of the Chargers. Not trying to imply this. As noted before, the likelihood of a head coach to go to a SB with a franchise QB is somewhere around 6 years. Do the math... The window has elapsed.
  15. Kind of the way I feel as a Bills fan with McD. Obviously, McD is light years ahead of Staley. However, the theme of your post applies to Buffalo after 13 seconds and the Cinci thrashing. In fact, you can go much deeper in the playoffs and see a pattern of mediocrity and outright blunders. I see very little evidence that McD can lead this team to a SB appearance. This year frustrates me that the team is 7-6 and trying to make a playoff push. Not what we fans anticipated. Next year all over again with McD just doesn't sit well with me.
  16. No 13 second meltdown for Staley.
  17. Very tough game for sure. I believe the NFC is a lot better than the AFC too. The Cowboys are certainly battle tested this season. They still have a lot to play for. They should be ready on Sunday. Would love to see a letdown but truthfully it's unlikely. Dak can be bad at times. The Bills pass rush has to generate pressure. The big play and explosive Cowboy offense is a concern for this depleted Bills D. McD has really done a very good job with this Bills D. The injuries prevent this team from being dominant. Seems like the defense plays lights out in the first half and then not so good in the second half. A complete game would be a welcomed sight. I think we have to talk about both QBs. Arguably the biggest key to winning. Allen under Brady has been very good. Looking like the old Allen we know. No restrictions, dynamic, and elite. Dak is in the MVP conversation so that says a lot. What version of each QB do we get? Dak can get rattled and Allen can certainly turnover the ball. Really excited about this game. I really thought the Bills would lose in KC. Gladly, I was wrong. I do believe the Cowboys are the better team. Of course that won't be popular here. Nevertheless, I just have a gut feeling the Bills win. The fans, home field, the must win mentality, Allen, etc... Bills 24 Cowboys 23
  18. On paper, the Cowboys are better than the Bills. The best team doesn't always win. Big home field advantage here and hopefully the Cowboys are a little off. Can you analyze the 7-6 Bills team?
  19. Staley makes McD look like a genius.
  20. I've heard rumbles that Ben Johnson might be the guy for the Chargers.
  21. Quitting on their coach perhaps. Certainly seem sloppy and unfocused.
  22. Raiders looking good. Chargers not so much. Brandon Staley is so bad. Spanos might not fire him. He's so cheap he might not want to pay his salary.
  23. You don't think Brown can handle him? Brown is quietly having an all pro like season.
  24. I might add that the Bills coaching staff might not be at a disadvantage either. McCarthy isn't a coach who scares me. Dan Quinn looks to be pretty solid on D though. Point being there may be a lesser chance for McD to screw the pooch.
  25. You had me until you said " it may not be as difficult as we think." When have the Bills last won an easy game? Or when is the last Bills win that hasn't been difficult? Been a long long time. The Cowboys are rolling and a very good team. To imply this game might not be difficult seems to be a stretch to put it kindly. Disagree here. Would you rather play the Cowboys on Sunday or Carolina?
