  1. If they weren’t a couple games behind already I think people would be more worried. I don’t see a whole lot of losses left on the bills schedule. The dolphins still have a below average offensive line and a qb that doesn’t go through progressions well and don’t cover well on the defensive side. Even if they pulled out the win in buffalo I don’t think they’re catching us still…they have a pretty tough 4 week stretch coming up soon: @49ers @chargers @bills home vs GB Bills will likely have the first round bye and Miami is pretty likely gonna lose the 3 seed vs 6 seed or 4 seed vs 5 seed road game
  2. It just makes no sense to me long term…the dolphins spent pretty much all of their rebuild resources and then some to be the 4th or 5th best team in the conference. I would’ve taken my shot with the picks odds are they are probably getting a better player than Chubb with one of those. stats wise they are probably gonna have to roll with tua now but if they spent some of that cap space and signed Lamar they’d be insane also.
  3. I don’t think he added much value the colts are just taking him to fill up a roster spot imo
  4. I don’t think it reflects on cook as much we people think it does…he’s still in the long term plans but rbs have a lot more responsibilities than people think and the bills want a veteran back there while we’re in win now mode hines has the skill set to line up at wr
  5. Hines can line up at wr…it’s an absolute steal for a 6th and moss.
  6. Dolphins beat us by 2 at home with us missing 5 offensive linemen and our entire starting secondary. They really need some coverage linebackers kind of odd seeing them go pass rusher
  7. Hines plays a good amount of wr…great move if we didn’t give up a ton. People only care about name recognition though I guess
  8. I’m not leaving that out. He’s a known entity that hasn’t really had a great year since his rookie year and he comes with some injury risk. They’re shelling out capital to be the 4th or 5th best team in the afc imo but we’ll see how it shakes out helps then short term sure, but does it help them enough. Long term I think they’ve been on the wrong end of quite a few trades but we’ll see…I certainly can’t see the future lol
  9. Chubb takes multiple times as much cap room as a rookie pick would…that’s the flaw in your logic. Picks are much more valuable than plugging in a sizable veteran contract. I would have no problem giving Miami credit should they deserve it…this has nothing to do with being jealous of a division rival or anything like that. with buffalo and kc and baltimore in their conference though, I’m willing to bet they’re more than a Bradley Chubb away. There’s a small chance they prove me wrong and find their way into the Super Bowl but I very much doubt it they haven’t traded picks to the extent that LAR has but that is what happens to your franchise when you can’t turn your roster over with young talent on rookie deals
  10. Dolphins just sunk their team in the long run for a win now type trade when they have almost no chance of winning now. They’ve also hitched their wagon to tua long term who isn’t much more than a one read qb.
  11. He hasn’t been very good in a few years now…dolphins are overpaying all around
  12. They were just a play away from losing to the lions because that defense is a sieve…Bradley Chubb isn’t going to change much. Flores had that defense playing much better…they’re not much better than last season they’re just different. Much better offense but much worse defense
  13. We were also missing 11 starters in that game lol dolphins are still weak on defense and offensive line and they are blowing draft capital and cap room on good not great players
  14. They also spent so many of their future picks on players they’ll need to extend
  15. ‘By far’ is a massive stretch. They aren’t far better than the titans or rams. The stats comparisons are a bit skewed because they got two offensive dumpster fires in back to back weeks with Denver and GB
  16. Oh yea it’s bad no question about that…but this implication that it’s going to happen again or that second half is gonna carry over to another game is going pretty far overboard imo.
  17. Why are people exaggerating this so wildly lol. They clearly told josh to avoid taking unnecessary hits with a big lead so he passed up an easy scramble on the first int. Josh tried to throw the ball away and gb made a ridiculous play to snag that second int. All qbs throw a couple dumb intercept able passes per game…credit to gb for holding onto them. This is not going to develop into any kind of trend.
  18. Philly is going to get spanked by the cowboys when they don’t have a practice squadder at QB imo…I wouldn’t call them full 2020 Steelers but they are not 7-0 good right now
  19. Bills would defend the eagles much differently than the second half of the packers game. And I think as a fanbase we are really sleeping on how good Aaron jones and aj Dillon are. There weren’t a whole lot of plays where we weren’t well positioned to make tackles. Also, I’m sure rodgers was audibling and changing blocking assignments at the line of scrimmage which he is much better than hurts at.
  20. People forgot Aaron jones was an animal because the packers haven’t been very good. I think edmunds is getting held responsible around here for most of the run defense issues last night
  21. No one in the nfc is nearly as good as the bills or chiefs imo. Philly is about as good as a relatively healthy baltimore team. Heck if Miami can just somewhat sort their defensive issues out I’d put them above all those nfc teams too. Miami likely beats Minnesota with tua out there…bridgewater had a rough few weeks even with bridgewater Miami outgained Minnesota 458-234
  22. I think if it was season ending for poyer we’d probably know already…and our second half schedule is quite easy so I’m not sure they have to make a move at safety
  23. James Robinson/Michael Carter are no Aaron jones. Zach Wilson is no Aaron Rodgers setting protections/audibling at the line of scrimmage
  24. I found myself at a pats titans playoff game in foxboro a few years back and the pats fans booed their offense after two straight punts to start the game. They won the game by 21. Hopefully we don’t turn into that lol
  25. I don’t think josh would be reined in in the second half of a close game against a team with weapons so it’s incomparable imo. Really looked like the coaching staff was like ‘alright you’re up 17, stop taking hits’ and it got in Josh’s head a little. Based on what we’ve seen from him he would’ve more than likely scrambled for the first down on that first int in a closer game It’s also possible the gb pass defense actually is as good as advertised and we just won a two score game against a team that was a bad matchup for our offense but we’ll have to wait and see on that one
