  1. I liked the pass call to Davis the play before that…he has to win that matchup. 3rd down play was ugly though
  2. Gabe havin a tough night….that’s a one on one matchup he has to win
  3. Cocky? Lol josh passed up an easy run for the first there because he didn’t want to take an unnecessary hit with a big lead
  4. That looked like actual hands to the face but I didn’t get a great look
  5. We will let them run all day in the second half lol this is an absurd gameplan from Green Bay…they’re trying to bait us into stacking the box and giving up a quick score
  6. I was gonna say our stadium looks much better than theirs actually lol their stadium looks like a fancy coffee shop or a top golf 😁
  7. Rbs catch passes and block too…and a guy with a little more burst can hit huge plays in the running/passing game much more frequently than singletary does. That’s really the exception I have with singletary…the running game is usually mostly small gains until you hit on a huge play and singletary just doesn’t have breakaway speed. It could be a good investment even if this hypothetical new running back doesn’t get a ton of carries
  8. I tried to tell people in the offseason lol The pats were an 8 win team last year against an easy schedule that got obscenely lucky with when they ran into certain teams on top of that. Bills in the wind storm, browns and titans when their entire teams were injured. I don’t think they were winning 10 this year even with a qb playing well. That defense seems to really struggle against dual threat qbs…they’ve had no answer for josh Allen, Lamar, or fields
  9. I’m not terribly shocked the Matt Ryan/Russell Wilson experiments haven’t worked out but man the chargers have been disappointing again. Staley is as good as gone. I think the bengals will be bouncing the chargers out of the playoff picture soon Seems like the argument has been ‘you know you’re playing in Miami so prepare better’ but we ran out of healthy guys to substitute due to all the injuries we had. It’s honestly incredible that game was even close. Miami lost a couple offensive linemen for one play and tua for a drive but they were very healthy according to the snap counts.
  10. He’s hurt and benched…it’s ehlingers job to lose going forward even if Matt is healthy. Looks like the era of the pocket passer is coming to a close and they’re desperate for some more mobility
  11. Especially the way it happened too…McKenzie just throwing away 14 pts pretty much and then the chiefs stopping us on another huge 4th down and getting away with an absolutely egregious trip to kill another drive while having quite a few of their drives extended by soft calls on our secondary. In the past we’re used to hearing ‘if you don’t play a perfect game against kc you are going to lose’ but that does not appear to be the case for us anymore
  12. They’ve won in spite of tua in those two games you mentioned…the dolphins defense made every clutch stop possible in both games. The dolphins seem to really struggle putting points on the board despite accumulating massive yardage totals between the 20s
  13. 49ers chiefs could be fun…I’m wondering what that sf defense is able to do against kc
  14. I can see the whole being starved to win a superbowl thing which seems to be where they’re coming from…but imo winning the superbowl in any individual season requires a little bit of luck in addition to a great team (see: bills losing OT coin toss last year) and the best way to get one is to be great over a long period of time. im curious if the rams really nosedive if their fans years from now will say selling out for that one superbowl was worth it.
  15. I still wouldn’t have traded a 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th in 2024 for him even in hindsight if we don’t win a superbowl and they do. We’d have to let some players walk to keep him too they are in danger of going all in on this year and not winning it then being screwed in the future especially because they traded up for Lance also. I still think the eagles and cowboys with Dak are gonna be tough. It’s hard to count out Brady figuring it out too
  16. How many of them played offense? And how many of them that played offense are even relevant? I think that list would just be chase roullier but I could be forgetting someone. Josh got dumped on for his performances against the big schools and there was virtually no other nfl caliber players on offense
  17. Needed a Taron Johnson pick 6 to turn the game around? The game was 10-3 Buffalo at that point. At worst it’s tied if he doesn’t throw that pick
  18. How many games does a team not leave points off the board though…it’s going to happen. Just gotta make enough plays to beat the other guy
  19. Eagles aren’t nearly as good imo…they aren’t beating the cowboys with Dak
  20. Does orchard park really have the infrastructure to host a Super Bowl anyway? I wouldn’t say so
  21. Kelce got his because we took Milano off him to spy mahomes…it was really the mahomes/Kelce/hill trio that made it all work. Their receivers honestly made 100% of the tough contested catches in huge spots that game and they still lost. I wouldn’t expect those guys to make nearly that many plays in an average game. I feel pretty confident if we see them again
  22. They can’t shake that ‘winning close games’ stigma though. On paper they’re probably the second best team in the afc but they’ve been good/great on paper for awhile now and it just isn’t translating into wins
