  1. Dolphins are gonna win this game somehow 🤣🤣 all jokes aside im taking the vikings
  2. I cant help but think milano couldve played through his injury but we looked at the slate of AFC games to close out the season and figured it was smarter to let him heal up...but that is a complete guess of course I dont think we can ever play the 'should have lost' card again after what happened to us last night lol a defensive linemen stripping the ball from a quarterback is much more likely than that ridiculous hail mary
  3. I cannot for the life of me fathom how the loss yesterday in any way proves his style of coaching is unsustainable lol the dude overperformed with below average talent in previous years and is now atop the division with a lot of his key playmakers on defense playing injured/not playing at all. even if Miami is this juggernaut that you say they are he is still well positioned to make the playoffs with a defense that is much more likely to improve going forward than regress. How does Miami playing great make our coaching staff worse lol I still can't comprehend that. Also how is the path to the division being permanently shut in the future based on a dolphins 2020 winning streak haha this is an incredible take...is it a guarantee that Miami is going to draft great players? Are they somehow not constrained by the salary cap like every other team? What recent dolphins draft picks have done anything? Tua hasn't proven anything yet..Christian Wilkins is ehh, Michael deiter does nothing, Isaiah prince is gone, Austin Jackson is bad, igbinoghene is terrible, Robert hunt is bad, raekwon davis hasn't done anything, the list goes on. Miami is the team who's window is now and closing you have it backwards. You need your guys on rookie contracts to consistently ball out or an elite quarterback that can put the team on his back to have some kind of epic patriots-esque dynasty and at this point they may have neither but we will see. They traded a lot of top talent to acquire draft capital and did absolutely nothing with it...imagine if they had Minkah Fitzpatrick right now my goodness People have this notion that a rookie qb is going to consistently improve week after week and that is far from the case
  4. That last play pretty much ended my fantasy season.....😁 no silver lining here
  5. I kind of agree with you here...all the teams left on both teams schedule(except for the jets) are teams that are built to compete with anybody. Idk how anyone can guarantee the dolphins beat any of them including a jets team desperate for a win to avoid that 0-16 mark. I've gotta give the edge to a battle tested bills team at this point but that could definitely change.
  6. I like the 'sign jordan Howard and steal the dolphins playbook' idea a lot better 🤣
  7. Idk whats wrong with me I am always that way but this game didn't bother me like that for some reason. It was an all time epic play...yea it was at our expense but it feels like a piece of history kind of I guess? 😁 every time I see the play it becomes more apparent how lucky it was so I really haven't had to avoid it. if the cardinals got the ball back with more time left and marched down the field and scored on a more traditional drive I wouldve been a lot more pissed for some reason...not sure if that makes sense to anyone else lol
  8. Honestly as much as I laughed at this notion in years past I feel like we should be good enough to beat the cardinals and the refs at this point 🤣
  9. Big shout out to our fan base that I dont think any NFL fan would choose the bills as an answer to this question...10 or so years ago we would've been a unanimous choice probably 🤣
  10. Miami has had the benefit of making teams one dimensional due to defensive touchdowns helping them build a big lead. Maybe they will continue their great play going forward without that benefit we will all have to wait and see 🤣 i have a sneaking suspicion your pats are going to thrash them and may beat us too although I think we're a little bit better equipped since our qb has seen the pats defense quite a few times now Thats why all these 'dolphins are going to run the table' posts are making me scratch my head a little...I will take bill belichick with anyone on his roster over a rookie qb every single time
  11. Yea I just took a look...I think the eagles game had me scarred lol it was better than I remember. I doubt much of it is on Frazier but you have to try something to get a spark for sure...our linebackers were horrendous for most of the season. We definitely do not have the depth there that we thought we had before the season. I think a lot of our big impact defenders have been playing hurt all season hopefully they get healthier
  12. Oh yea I wouldnt object to putting him on notice lol but eye test wise it seems like theyre hanging with top offensive talent better than we have in years past at least in the last couple games. I'd have to go back into box scores from last year but just thinking about last season it seems like our defense made a living dismantling bad quarterbacks and didn't really show up for big games I wouldve had zero confidence wed hold this years cardinals and Seahawks and rams under 35 points if we played them last year lol thats why that loss last night was such a shame going 3-0 against those three teams in insanely impressive and something we never would've even dreamed of in recent years
  13. You could be right obviously I have no idea whats going on behind closed doors lol I feel like saying 'hey our offensive line got owned and mitch was healthy enough to play but we wanted to save him for more important games down the road and we thought we could win it without him' would be arguably much more controversial.
  14. Gotta factor in the schedule too we had a lot of bad qbs roll through last year.
  15. I dont buy what he said I dont think you can admit you held out a player that likely wouldve swung the game because you wanted to make sure he was healthy for the upcoming afc games lol morse will magically have a great week of practice and be starting again against the chargers
  16. Our own fans would also be talking about how we're a lucky team that isn't good if we were winning the way the dolphins are winning 🤣 if Josh doesn't throw for 300+ with 0 interceptions a win doesn't count Is a win somehow worth more when you blow a team out lol I just dont understand this logic...the bills couldve scored an extra 7-14 points in quite a few of their wins if they knew they needed to hit a certain margin of victory threshold to satisfy you haha
  17. I'm firmly in the 'a win us a win' camp but tua is absolutely going to have to carry the team in at least one of those games if they're going to run the table like you are suggesting. I have watched a handful of Tua passes sail right through defenders hands while theyre creating an unsustainable amount of turnovers on the other side. Odds are just as good that they cool off as they are that they continue to play well but the notion that they're going to finish 5-1 is a huge reach right now. This 'the bills only hope to win' angle is a bit ridiculous though in my opinion as a team who lost a starting cornerback to covid protocols and held out mitch morse who is hundreds of times better than Brian winters went down to Arizona and got beat by a fluke play.
  18. If they finish 10-6 and just somehow miss three wildcard spots at that record missing the playoffs because the dolphins decided to start their more experienced veteran quarterback to rest their inexperienced qb for the playoffs no one will turn on this regime 🤣 you have the dolphins winning 11 of their final 12 games how is that bills ineptitude if the dolphins pull that off when we only play them once. What you're saying is certainly possible but I would put that firmly in the 'hot take' category at the moment
  19. Yea I dont understand the fear of Pittsburgh...id rather play them than KC. I think we are unrealistically negative about our teams chances. Yea we could lose to someone like San Francisco but were talking like its an impossibility that Miami will drop a similar game lol
  20. Do people know theres three wildcards now? You think all 3 wildcards will be better than 10-6?
  21. We don't need to have the same record as Miami going into week 17...we can be 10-5 if Miami is 11-4 which is very likely Our loss yesterday took away the slim chance that we could lose to Miami and still win the division
  22. Youd think theyd have some kind of plan for Hopkins there like that...they couldve covered him with 6 dbs there and he still makes that catch lol I wonder if Josh could track a long pass like that its pretty difficult to do and time your jump properly...I'll never forget gronk missing a huge tackle on a last second kick return against thr dolphins that cost the pats the game so that kind of stuff makes me nervous lol im sure Bill had the same thought process as what were talking about
  23. Looking back on it and seeing what didn't work that certainly seems like an option...hes still behind a healthy margin in vertical and wingspan but im sure he wouldve at least bodied Hopkins a little bit 🤣 it doesn't even sound possible but if you factor in the jump and everything else Hopkins has like a 10 inch advantage over white even though white is only a few inches shorter. I cant think of anyone else besides Josh that wouldve even had a chance and I dont think they'd let their qb in there
  24. Hopkins has a 5 inch higher vertical than white according to combine stats and probably the biggest hands in the history of hands and the wingspan of a 7 foot tall dude...he was literally built in a lab for the sole purpose of outjumping guys for balls 🤣🤣 I just think we don't have anyone tall enough for that...I was debating someone on here about the size difference between white and Hopkins in another thread but it is a massive mismatch when you factor in their verticals and Hopkins' wingspan...i don't think we have receivers tall enough that couldve made a difference do we? we needed to jostle him around on his way up which rarely gets called as pi on the final play so we get away with it likely or get to Murray before he threw the ball
  25. Oh yea they shouldn't have been for sure lol I meant once you see Kyler running hard to his left side they probably weren't making their best effort to disrupt Hopkins and risk a penalty as if they were badly out of position since they were not expecting an across his body 50 yard laserbeam ball that he could perfectly highpoint out of the air. I didnt mean the playcall caught them off guard. I guess theoretically as far as playcalling goes the cards couldve run a play to get about half along the sideline
