  1. Why is it luck when our defense makes plays but not luck when the opposing defense makes plays lol I just dont understand this double standard we have. They are lucky we fumbled twice in a row while running the ball down their throat to close out the game then if our defense 'got lucky' shutting down their offense after turnovers. You have a 7+ point lead since early in the game and that only results in a win 33% of the time? 🤣 the bucs were getting beat up all game yardage wise but hung around and needed one stop to have a shot at a game winning drive...much like our game against the chiefs actually.. the chargers never were in a position to do better than tie against us. Bucs had a considerably better chance to win than the chargers did
  2. That is kind of hard to evaluate at this point... the games hes had 150ish yards passing we've made a concerted effort to establish the run even if it wasn't really working. I dont think they wanted josh dropping back to pass too much with bosa absolutely terrorizing our offensive line. I think he's had a deep ball PI penalty in most of those games too. the difference between 175 passing yards and 220 is pretty huge optics wise when you're reading a stat sheet. Even when considering only afc playoff squads there really isn't another team with a pass rusher like bosa.
  3. Thats kind of even more pathetic for doug pederson really lol Cowboys lose their quarterback and their backup qb for 2 games...giants lose saquon in week 2 and are clearly rebuilding...Washington had to make a qb change mid-season cuz haskins wasn't buying in...and despite all that eagles are 2nd in the division with 3 wins? Insane
  4. Our receivers were getting absolutely zero separation as well outside of Robert foster occasionally beating someone deep. Josh Allen walked into an awful situation and somehow survived its kind of amazing. No idea how he was 5-6 as a starter with that squad. Thats why the 'we shouldve drafted mahomes' crowd is kind of off base in my opinion...its very possible we wouldve butchered mahomes' development lol he sat behind Alex Smith and learned the offense and when he got the starting job had a ton of weapons. We did the exact opposite to Josh because Peterman was so bad that it was literally torturing the dude by making him start 🤣
  5. I like to think that the defense was so bad early in the season because edmunds was playing historically awful due to playing through an injury and aj klein not knowing the scheme well yet but that might be wishful thinking 🤣 i think we should see some substantial improvement going forward The titans game felt like we sold out to stop Derrick Henry and thought we could get away with some single coverage on receivers and the gameplan very much did not work especially in the red zone. I dont want to say its good that we lost to them earlier in the season but I think a rematch helps us more than it helps them. Losing the turnover battle 3-0 really hurt us in that one the yardage totals didn't really scream blowout. And if im remembering correctly we had one of those 'our receiver tipped a catchable ball in the air' type interceptions early in the game. If we end up playing the chiefs were gonna have to force some turnovers...that is one of the best football teams in recent memory.
  6. Josh allen was such a huge risk so I think its pretty safe to call beane above average based on that pick alone...also seeing how unsuccessful a lot of those other qbs from that draft have been. Still too early to rate Ed Oliver or Edmunds. Wyatt teller has been great but i dont think he counts since we traded him 🤣 Tyler bass in the 6th could be a nice pickup. Gabe Davis has made some plays. Its hard to rate our running backs seeing as our offensive line seems to be horrendous at run blocking lol
  7. Brown seems like another one of our guys that has been playing injured all season so im not sure how much of a loss he has been. He was dealing with a knee injury for most of the season.
  8. Helps us a bit...steelers are gonna have their game next week pushed back id imagine so they have less extra time to prepare for us
  9. Theyre missing quite a few pieces compared to that super bowl squad...deforest buckner is gone...nick bosa is injured. This reminds me a lot of our game against the steelers last year with duck hodges at qb...should be a close one but id give the bills the edge
  10. Semi regularly haha thats the mark of an elite coach right there. Its honestly pretty amazing what McDermott has been able to do with the team and cap situation he inherited. The dude completely turned the roster over. Even Andy Reid who had much more head coaching experience didn't make it past the divisional round of the playoffs until his 5th season in KC I think the part of the op people are arguing is 'he won't ever be an elite coach' the jury is still very much out on that one but he is trending in that direction. He got a few coach of the year votes last season so obviously he's getting some national attention. This season results wise could surpass last year against a much more difficult schedule
  11. Were no Kansas city chiefs though so our team isn't good haha thats all this is. If we were winning games like our game against the rams every week where we gave up a big lead then needed a miraculous game winning drive to win the game id be more inclined to agree with these people but alot of these games have been comfortable victories that made people nervous because of painful flashbacks of past bills teams blowing games 🤣 we wouldve had two wins like that if we had pulled out the cardinals game which seems pretty average and would not be enough to classify most of our wins as magical unsustainable wins lol the dolphins game we went down late in the 3rd quarter and immediately took the lead back if im remembering correctly. Not to mention that ridiculous rams comeback was aided by one of the worst calls in nfl history lol. Were not any luckier than any other team...fumbled bounced our way in the pats game...we got a tricky tack pi call in the rams game...but also on the flipside we got beat by an absurd hail mary in the cardinals game. The chargers hail mary was not even remotely close to the cardinals one...it didn't reach the end zone and they had to race down the field to either spike the ball or run a play.
  12. Jets took the patriots aka 'the team thats apparently going to go on a magical run and knock us out of the playoffs' down to the wire haha
  13. Honestly what even is prove it mode...like do you think our team should be scoring meaningless touchdowns against someone like the Seahawks rather than running out the clock so fans feel better about the team lol chargers had to covert on 4th down like 6 times and recover back to back fumble just to keep that game within striking distance...they hung on by a thread? The game was never even tied 🤣
  14. Pats going 3-0 in that rams-dolphins-bills stretch is extremely doubtful...its just as likely the jets get their one win of the season against the pats lol how does your positive version have us losing a game were favored to win and Miami beating the raiders haha I wouldnt be surprised if the pats magical run at winning out ends against the chargers next week 🤣
  15. Yea it really doesn't sound like something any coach would say to begin with lol that post was more 'if he said that he's stupid' 🤣 im sure he's going to play the guy that gives them the best chance to win and a hobbled Jimmy G may not be the guy
  16. I came here to say this and you already said it! 😄 nfc isn't anywhere near as strong as the afc this year...bucs could sneak into the Super Bowl and get thrashed by KC again thats really not the craziest prediction to make lol I dont think Tampa was a good choice for Brady as far as him fitting into the offense goes...they are still probably his best chance to win a Super Bowl though.
  17. Not sure he can say we can win with anyone at qb when they can't really win consistently with mullens at qb 🤣 theyre a one dimensional team that i would expect the bills to be favored against. Shanahan is in no position to hold out players that could help him win against us imo.
  18. This might be a hot-ish take but I think the traveling is more of what makes away games tough than the crowd noise
  19. Good teams win when everything is going wrong thats why they are good teams 🤣 bad teams fold when things stop breaking their way. We were that bad team for years and I dont think people know how to handle us not being that team anymore and are just waiting for that team to return lol
  20. Lol seriously...how do we know the bills couldve developed mahomes the same way Andy Reid did. Even if the bills drafted him we couldve gotten a very different mahomes and rushed him into a starting role
  21. The saints are hardly winning pretty...they got taken to OT by this same chargers team that we are supposedly failures for not beating by more lol. They beat the panthers by 3 and then the bears by 3 in the following weeks
  22. This is exactly what I've been saying 🤣 these great teams we are saying we're not as good as win these ugly games all the time. We're comparing ourselves to the chiefs and saying we are not playoff caliber but who is when thats the measuring stick lol
  23. You need a generational type talent at rb to overcome poor offensive line play
  24. I mean they got manhandled by Joey bosa and fumbled twice in a row and the refs seemingly had a large sum wagered on the chargers winning and we still moved the ball and won pretty comfortably. The chargers are no slouch I think the game today was more encouraging than some others think.
  25. If they played right now you may be right but the season doesn't end right now lol if the bills defense keeps improving they will be scary in the playoffs. Today's effort was encouraging the chargers have been rolling on offense
