  1. Lamar is proven to be a far better QB than I ever expected. Kudos to him. However, in terms of importance to his team, Tyler Huntley demonstrated last year, that the Ravens can win even without Lamar. The even were competetive in the playoff game against the Bengals last year. The Bills hopefully will never be tested in this regard, but I think we all know the offense stalls completely without Josh. I think Josh is more valuable. If you just go by stats, than you have to think Brock Purdy is more valuable to his team, than 30 other QBS in the NFL. Brock is an excellent QB with a great future. But he is not more important to the 49ers, than quite a few other QBs are to their teams.
  2. The "double dip" is a myth. Its an alternating possession game. If each team has the same number of possessions in the first half, neither team got an advantage, but that means the team who kicked off first ended with the ball. In the second half if each team has the same number of possessions, the team that kicked off has the last possession of the game, which proves critical time and time again. If the team who recievest the ball first in the half also has the final possession, that is the actual "double dip" because it means the recieve first team actually had one more possession. Defer or receive probably does not matter statistically. If you defer and get a 3 and out, that feels like momentum gained. If you receive and score, that fills like momentum gained. But in reality these guys are professionals, and momementum is not particularly important. To the pros each possession is the same, either a win for the offense, or a win for the defense. (maybe field goals are a tie) .
  3. is that Jason Garret making my ears bleed?
  4. is the stream sketchy for others or does my internet provider suck?
  5. I dont think the dolphins should be allowed heaters on the sidelines.
  6. aobut 70% as often as we here how history is being made because the game is on Peacock.
  7. Chiefs will dominate. Peacock stream qualifty sucks so far. select the little icon that looks like a chat icon
  8. chiefs play tonight. The players don't play a game on sun, monday, tues, wed, thursday, friday, saturday = 7 days between games Bills play monday. The players don't have a game tue, wed, thur, fri, sat = 5 days between games. There is no gettting around it, this is a big advantage to the chiefs
  9. If the Chiefs win, they will have 8 days rest next sunday, the Bills will have 6. Two extra prep days is huge for top tier coaches like Reid.
  10. The best part is rooting for Allen is that he plays the whole game to the end, and regularly makes complete fools of his critics.
  11. Officially available
  12. Dak does not fit in that first group.
  13. Josh Allen yesterday the first player in NFL history to throw for 350+ yards, rush for 65+ yards and complete 75%+ of his passes in a single game. This is possibly the most crucial game of the season. Josh Allen is the NFL MVP.
  14. To me,the nature of being Billsy includes a requirement of something being fairly unique. All teams have turnovers. All teams blunder and allow kick or punt returns for TDs. Last nights unique moment was the strange decision making with 2:00 minutes left in the fourth quarter. I honestly do not know what I saw there. Can someone explain the sequence of events that transpired there?
  15. Apparently until Vic Fangio pointed out the Elway comparison, that had never occurred to Colliinsworth before. It seemed to turn on a lightbulb in his head.
  16. In the game that mattered most, Josh was twice as good as a QB as Tua, and a better RB than Achane. Josh Allen is the MVP of the NFL.
  17. A great thanks to the Titans. Not sure I could have survived the Bills Dolphins game without knowing we were at least in the playoffs
  18. hopefully the Dolphins take out the chiefs for us.
  19. good to get the pick. sort of like a punt though
  20. Beginning of the season, progress was defined as making it past the divisional round of the playoffs. Crappy early season performance lowered the bar. If the Bills can't win more than 1 playoff game again this year, I will be ok if they keep McDermott, as long as they change their mailing address to 1 and done Bills Drive. Another poster earlier posted "win the Super Bowl and I will be happy to have him here for life". I think that sums up my feelngs, and many others as well.
  21. Expecting the good Bills to dominate the batterered and whiny Dolphins. Give -9.5 and make 250 percent on your bets. Fish will be squished.
  22. If not for Goodels grand experiment this game would likely not be mattering to us.
  23. Its an interesting question. The big unknown, is what is the benefit of a rest? Is an unresteded Josh an 80% version, and a extra week rested Josh 100%. If that ere the case, I would rather be on the road with 100% Josh in the wild card round, than home with the 80% Josh. But I doubt an extra week makes that big of a difference. So just play Josh and try to win the game, would be my strategy. Completely separately, not playing Josh and losing, then losing on the road with a rested Josh in the first round of the playoffs would probably result in fans calling for McDermott's firing.
  24. A subset of Bills fan's grade Allen (and no one else) against perfection. And every week are thrilled to prove absolutely that he wasn't perfect.
