It has always been interesting how the Patriots approached "meaningless" games and special teams. In both cases they put the personnel on the field that gives them the best opportunity to win. I am not quite old enough to remember Vince Lombardi, who is reported to often have repeated the phrase 'Winning isn't everything; it's the only thing" I suspect the Packers did not rest players before the playoffs. I suspect Bellichek thinks that it provided his team some psychological advantage, more than worrying about them being rusty. Patriots certainly didn't intentionally miss out on a playoff bye to avoid getting rusty. Like Tom Brady, Josh Allen carries his offense and likely covers up potential weaknesses that may be more obvious if he is not playing. Not really sure if this is true, but if it is, it is a fairly compelling reason to play your game as you normally would. the deniers probably just weren't invited to the good parties.

Diggs needs to be the new good hands guy for All State.

How do we keep Daboll around?
Chaos replied to loveorhatembillsfan4life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My opinion is that Allen makes Daboll look much better than he really is. I honestly don't think people yet grasp how special Josh is. People who incorrectly trashed Josh the last two years want to credit others with Josh's success to make themselves look less stupid. Josh would be this good with quite a few other OCs. -
He won't be there @ pick 32

I know people don't like to believe it, but the Buffalo Bills currently employ the NFL's best QB. HIs physical talent is without peer. His leadership is #1 as well. No aspect of his game is not in the Top 5 in the NFL .Overall he is the best.

There are only two choices 1) you hate him and think he is so bad he should not even be an NFL starting QB or 2) He is a transcendent player who is revolutionizing the game. There can be no middle ground.

Disagree. Bills struggle with the run. Chubb and Hunt scare me more than the Ravens.

What is a successful season for the 2020 Bills?

Winning your last game and missing the playoffs is a fail. -
Draft Picks are a form of capital. This capital is not distributed evenly. As a sense of proportion, the Bengals were given the cash equivalent of say $10 Million dollars for the last draft. The Chiefs were given the equivalent of 2 Million (ratio based on draft value charts). It is difficult to directly compare how teams given different amounts of capital fare against each other. People like to dump on the Patriots drafting. But the Patriots have been drafting nearly last for 20 years. I think the proper question is not "who is the best drafter" , but rather who makes the most out of the draft capital they are given. The Chiefs have used their draft capital in a way that allowed them to get Mahomes, and to win the most recent Super Bowl. That makes them the unquestioned current leader in the category of who manages their draft capital the best.

The teams that draft in the final five spots consistently are the best at drafting.

Its possible that both the coaches & players performed poorly on that play.
