  1. What would you package, though? All of your day three picks still probably don't get you a third rounder.
  2. And saying that a second team All Pro player who just got $20 million a year is nowhere near starting caliber is one of them. That’s your statement, not mine. Not only is he not great, and not only his he not good, and not only is he not average, and not only is he not even below average, and not only is he not a solid backup…he’s nowhere near starting caliber. What other all pros from last season are nowhere near starting caliber, in your view?
  3. Miller hasn’t played at an All Pro level since 2018. Smith was literally 2nd team All Pro last year. If he’s “nowhere near starting caliber”, then I don’t know who is considering the guy who was first team All Pro last year is going to be 36 and also missed a couple of games.
  4. The guy who was second team All Pro last season is nowhere near starting caliber?
  5. Haha, we’re not far off at all other than I’m a Chiefs fan and you’re a Bills fan. I enjoy the football talk and the back and having some fun with rival fans. Sometimes I like to hang out with a group of completely likeminded fans, and other times it’s fun to trade back and forths with fans of rival teams. That’s what makes rivalries fun, IMO. I know it’s a Bills site, and I try not to cross the line. Sometimes I don’t try hard enough. WTF? Do you have no friends who are fans of different teams? Chill TF out.
  6. I will be secretly happy for all you jerks when the Bills finally win one. Pissed as I was, here was my post when Davis caught the TD with 0:13 left and the game was effectively over. That won’t stop me from poking at y’all, though.
  7. I find it funny that “it’s not even close” in your opinion. The best number one target on that list is Kelce. He’s better than Diggs. The second best option is Rashee Rice. He’s better than Kincaid. The third option of Brown versus Samuel is probably a wash, though Brown has better numbers across the board in his 5 seasons than Samuel has in 7. Shakir is a better 4th option, but that doesn’t really move the needle. Now factor in the contracts. Diggs, by himself, has a bigger cap hit this season than every Chiefs player on that list combined. As for Kincaid versus Kelce, that comparison makes no sense. If you wanted an honest comparison, it would be Kelce versus Diggs and Rice versus Kincaid. I wouldn’t trade Kelce for Diggs, and I wouldn’t trade Rice for Kincaid. Kincaid looks like a really nice piece going forward, but Rice looks like the next big thing in Kansas City. There’s a reason the Chiefs jumped the Bills in the draft to grab him. There’s also a reason you’re trying to compare your rookie to where our aging vet will be in 3 years while comparing our rookie to what your aging vet was last season.
  8. I’ll take the second group all day, every day.
  9. It doesn’t even make sense. There’s no way he should have signed for this little.
  10. Well the good news for you is that we’ve disagreed with pretty much everything ever, and, to put it lightly, my track record has been better than yours.
  11. Look at the contracts that are getting thrown around. If you spend this type of money, you get a guy with a busted foot and hope he stays healthy. That's the market. It's unpopular here, but Beane could have given Davis a 4 year $32 million extension a year ago.
  12. I can't believe the reaction here. Seems like a really good move, IMO. As a Chiefs fan, I'd have been excited if we'd have done this.
  13. Not only is it not a stretch, but he’s going to be closer to $40 million than $30 million AAV. If he signs a 5 year deal, I’m guessing its around $185 million.
  14. ICYMI, Mahomes overcame the two misses and won the game.
  15. Yep, and he didn’t come anywhere near putting up 1600 yards and 14 TDs over the past two seasons like Davis did.
  16. You’re so close to getting the point. Nobody would expect a guy coming in on a $1-2 million contract to put up anywhere near the 750 yards and 7 TDs that Davis routinely produced…because guys like that are getting 8 figures a season. Guys who earn $1-2 million put up 86 yards and 1 TD.
  17. What if I told you he was playing on a hurt foot and a knee injury that required offseason surgery? Does that sweeten the deal?
  18. Right, this POV makes perfect sense. It’s the people who act like Gabe was somehow holding the team back by “only” averaging 700 yards and 7 TDs a year while earning near the league minimum who have lost perspective.
  19. They just replaced him with Mack Hollins…who is earning more than Gabe did.
  20. Well he was 68th in targets, 49th in yards, and 18th in TDs, and he did it for next to nothing.
  21. Gabe Davis had 27 regular season TD receptions and 6 more in the postseason while earning a total of just under $4 million. How have so many convinced themselves that losing him is addition by subtraction?
  22. Still remains to be seen who is going to replace the 7 TD catches and 10.5 sacks that left with Davis and Floyd.
  23. I can’t believe it took so long for someone to say Shakir. He’s the obvious choice, IMO.
  24. KJ doesn’t add much more than I do.
  25. Kansas City would have let the Chiefs move to Portland, and the Bills would have won 8, yes 8 SuperBowls. The new stadium would have a retractable roof, and blue cheese would be replaced with ketchup as the preferred accompaniment to wings.
