Two weeks straight where it appears this team is asleep at the wheel Keep telling me McDermott is a top tier coach -

Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams

This is the only move to make if you actually want to not waste this year of Allen I don't care what you have to do, but find a way to make it happen. Allen has never had a player with his size, speed, and skill combination -
I'd love for us to trade for Amari Cooper
BeastMaster replied to True Blue's topic in The Stadium Wall
This I watched him basically quit in a huge game because of the weather years ago and said I'd never want a player like that on my team You want a real wideout, go get Davante -
I really think that it comes down to this McDermott is a good coach. He's a good person that the players respect and want to play for. His defenses constantly do their job and can be dominant against lesser opponents. With that being said, his teams are known to not measure up against the big boys in the biggest moments. His teams get bullied and the offense has always been to put too much on Josh Allen's shoulders. His decision making is suspect, and he has tendencies to play to not lose instead of win. At this point, there are two camps you can be in. One is to be happy about the success that this team has enjoyed in comparison to other franchises during this time period and the previous twenty before he arrived where we were basically a joke of a franchise and ride with McDermott until it eventually comes to an end The other is to recognize that while we have been a good team and a franchise that is now respected and looked at as upper echelon, that we just are not going to be able to get over the hump and we'll have the same results that we've had when we play the other true contenders in the playoffs and it means not truly contending for a championship. That this is not an acceptable result, and so there must be a change with the coaching staff at the very top I know what camp I'm in

These guys haven't been completely dominated on both sides of the ball like this in what seems like forever Should be an interesting week leading up to the Texans game -

This feels like a game where superior coaching has had a massive effect Baltimore was ready to play and was ready to bully us McDermott had these guys looking soft and not ready to match the intensity of their opponent -

Beane should be on the phone with the Raiders GM right now finding what it would take to get Davante Adams in our building -

Ravens doing whatever they want with no resistance McDermott should be livid, but just has deer in the headlights look instead -

Wow This team appears to not be ready to play against these guys -
Home team typically gets a 3 point advantage on betting lines, so being less than that means we are getting some respect from the house
-
It's so weird that the team seems to operate more efficiently and as more of a team when it's just a bunch of guys willing to do whatever is required and everyone is involved as opposed to one guy making sure he's getting the lion's share of the work and doesn't care about what's best for the team as a whole
-
My problem is they threw the flag late It makes it appear as if they wouldn't have called it if it doesn't end the game

Week 2 - Bills at Fins - 2nd half game thread
BeastMaster replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
This reads as a straight up hater comment We barely threw the ball and dominated the game Have a seat, my guy -
At their current rate, they will price out a large group of their fans in the next 5-10 years Greed ruins everything

Brandon Aiyuk officially requests a trade
BeastMaster replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Only losing franchises give up valuable draft picks and pay handsomely for that player by giving them a big, new contract. We have a franchise QB that will soon be making 60+ mil per year. You have to build through the draft to have good players under cost control You'll get a shiny, new toy next offseason -
Noah Brown worth a look? (now on the way to Washington)

I would drop Toohill and claim Brown -

BeastMaster replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Alot of it is going to come down to coaching to me The Jets have alot of talent on both sides of the ball, and if Rodgers can play at a high level, then they are a problem for anyone I do think McDermott is a better coach than Saleh, but I don't think much of that meathead so it's not a ringing endorsement for McD -
I am just as interested as the past few seasons My expectations are a bit lower, but that's not necessarily a bad thing since they always fail to meet my expectations because they have been so high I am excited to see Josh Allen lead this team and to see if he can run a successful offense with the receiving group he has
