This is ridiculous It's completely within reason to have issues with McDermott and the defensive side of the ball wilting every postseason being he's a defensive minded coach that made his mark as a DC His winning percentage has more to do with Josh freaking Allen than him or his defense, and his top ten defense in 5 out of 8 years means little when they get completely manhandled when the games become do or die Good coach? I don't trust McDermott when it comes to his defense because they've failed at the most crucial times against the top teams year after year. He's sticking with guys like Hamlin and Ingram over Elam and Bishop when those guys just aren't good and the other guys at least have talent and have now had time in the system, so we should be giving them a shot over guys who aren't making a difference out there. Continuing to do the same thing and expecting a different result is simply not a smart decision, and it will likely result in his defense getting burned again in the playoffs because he did what he always does
